MB Question

I am hoping that someone could help me on this. I didn't know where I should post this. I just received my magic bands! My question is will I have trouble going through airport security with this? Should I put it in my backpack and let it go through screening or should I wear it? I know it's suggested that we wear it the minute we get to Florida but I was wondering what to do with the bands till then. Don't want them to get confiscated! Thanks!

don't think there is anything in the MBs that would be "confiscatable"? I'm putting mine in my carry on. I don't think I need to wear it before arriving at WDW.

We also just got ours today and we will be putting them in our carry on. We will take them out when we get to the ME area.

We put our MB in our carry on. Did not have any problems at airport security.

I think Disney actually recommends guests place the bands with the carry ons because a guest may use ME and check their bags through the hotel and the bags not get to the hotel for at least 3 hours sometimes, if not more. MBs are passive devices like the smart CCs that people get these days. Since they do not actively transmit anything they are not dangerous for the plane.
