MB question for a friend!

A friend is going to WDW in August and said that she can make her FP res on June 13. She doesn't have a number (???) for her magic bands. Should she have this now? Her travel agent is away for the next couple of days. I have no idea how this works, but told her that I was sure that someone here could help!

She need to have the ticket # to link them to her MDE acct. before she can make FP+s.

You don't need to have the magic band before you make FP+ reservations. The reservations are made through your MDE account. To make the reservations 60 days out, you need a Disney resort reservation and valid park tickets. If these both show up in your friends MDE account, they will be able to make the reservations for their FP+.

The magic band is a link to your account. So when they are scanned, it looks up the information on the MDE account. That is where the FP+ reservations reside.
