MAYhem with the Mouse-a GROUP PTR Meet Roll Call

I'm so glad I saw this Mary!! How cool is this!
I don't have all my info. to post as of yet, but I will come back and do that when I'm able.
 Thank you for doing this!! I've been afraid to try and do one of my own so maybe this will help me break into it better. :goodvibes

Thank you Leanne for the nice welcome!! :goodvibes
Sorry I didn't post my info. like I said I would. :guilty:

OK.....This is the dealio my DIS familio's.

I'm Camille I live near Austin, in the wonderful state of Texas. :cloud9: I have two kiddos DS17 and dd10. Last but certainly not least... I'm married to my DH "Mr. Incredible" John, he even looks like him too, we've been married for 18years. We're leaving on our trip is May 18th-27th! :yay:

This is a trip to celebrate my sons graduation and his getting into one of his schools of choice, so far. We're not sure about his #1 top choice as of yet. I'm pretty sure if he made it into one he'll get the other, but then again....

OK, so this is my beautiful family. My kids look a lot different and my DH was doing a marathon that year so he's really thin compaired to his normal self. He usually has a few pounds on more than this pic. So he really looks more like Mr. Incredible with the weight. I don't mind, he's my sweetie so I love him no matter how he looks. :goodvibes

Me....I just look half awake in this picture. Oh well. I think I must have been about to blink.

So were staying at CSR- Coronado Springs Resort! :cool1:

My son doesn't know were staying there, he thinks were staying at the POP again. :goodvibes Which I would love, but this was a nice treat due to the code discounts this year, we were going to do two rooms at the POP but it came out much cheaper to stay at the Mod. with queen sized beds to sleep in, and not to mention the recent remodel they just did. This means clean and new beds!!
This appealed to me on so many levels, I just couldn't pass it up and Viola! We're staying in a moderate this time! My son saw pictures and thought this would be a great place to stay but I told him the money just wasn't there for it, little did I know the codes would come through and we'd be sitting pretty in a beautiful resort.

OK our plans: We leave at the crack of dawn on May 18th and get in around 1 in the afternoon.
I would love to do a lot of things with that time, but not sure of which will happen. You know how that goes! You've got a free unplanned day and all you want to do is go see all the places you've never been before.

Here's my list of possible ideas....

-Get some lunch not sure where, but dd10 wants to eat at the POP, since she knows we won't be staying there.

-Take a nap! We will have gotten up pretty early to make our almost 7 a.m. flight. I'm not so sure how much I want to do this, but we'll have to see, since we'll also go to bed early this night.

-Go for a swim, which is probably what Daddy and dd10 will do.
DS17 and I will probably hop on a bus and venture around the places we more than likely won't get to see this trip and didn't see last trip. The Board Walk being one of them, and maybe the Wilderness Lodge.

Then that evening we have the only thing set in stone.....

DTD! :yay:

I didn't get a lot of time here the last time we were in WDW and so this is a place I would love to venture around and see what's in store for us, and then have a little dinner at Earl of Sandwich or WGPExpress. Since WGPE took off the menu two main things I wanted to try, I'll leave it up to everyone where we end up eating. Then back to the resort for some early shut eye.

Park days:

Wednesday 19th is our MK day! :goodvibes
We have ADR's for KONA this evening. I've never eatin here so I'm very excited!

Thurs. 20th is our EPCOT Day!
We have ADR's for Akershus for breakfast (hopefully keeping us from waiting in line to much to meet characters this trip) and then that evening we're back over to the Poly for dinner at Ohana's, we even got the time we wanted. 8:05 p.m., maybe have a drink on the beach and watch Wishes if were not to long inside eating.

Fri. 21st is our MGM day. This place will always be MGM to me.
We did this park the very first day and time here in the "World," so in our minds, what we did that first day should be the same this trip, so.....
We eat at GF 1900 Park Fare for a really late breakfast after being in the park for a few hours, and then back to the park just like we did the fisrt time! :goodvibes

Sat. 22nd is our AK day!! I did not get to see much of this park the last time we went, we had six days in the park last family trip so I only planned one day at this park and MGM. I decided next trip we needed two days at each park, so two days at each park we are blessed with!!
Our ADR's are at BOMA's, this is one of my most favorite places, so much so we eat here twice on this trip.

Sun. 23rd MGM again! According to the touring advice I got, this was our choice if we wanted to fit our other park days in to the best of our advantage. It seems a little funny to do this so close to the last time we were here, but I wanted to fit the others in according to the days I was told were going to be good, so this is how it fell.
We'll eat at Starring rolls for lunch and possibly Crystal Palace or 1900 Park Fare, I have ressie's for both, but I'm waiting to see if the buffet at 1900 PF's reviews come out a bit better for me to want to dine here again. I realize we are doing a lot of buffet's, but with a 10 year old we have to try and fit in places we know the food is good for us and has something to offer her.

Mon. 24th is another EPCOT day, and this time we're doing the World showcase, I'll probably take advantage of sleeping in this day so I can catch up on some of my rest. You have to have a day of resting or I become a bear. Not good. :sad2: :goodvibes
We have Le Cellier ADR's here, the kids really wanted the Coral Reef, but there isn't one thing on the menu my daughter will eat. When we went the last time she was on the child's menu so it was a no brainer. This time Mommy and Daddy get a place only they would like to try and the kids get the atmosphere and fun looking desserts. Seriously, who wouldn't want to eat a dessert looking like a moose!?!?

Tues. 25th is AK day again. I'm not sure what we won't have done from the last time, but if we need to see anything else here we'll do it. :lovestruc
If I find that my dd10 is burnt out with it, we may see a show we didn't see and then head out to MK again. Who knows. WDW is our oyster! A little butter and some wine and were set to go!
Bomas for dinner here again.

Wed. 26th is of course our last and final park day, :sad1: and as I said at the beginning we'll be in MK. I love this place, it's so nostalgic for me, I use to go to DL a bit when I lived there or when we visted those who did after moving. So walking down Main St. is my most favorite thing to do in the whole wide world. This day we have ADR's at Crystal Palace for breakfast so I'll get my most favorite thing to do without the crowds and with my family who I love more than anything. :cloud9:

I'm a commando kinda girl, and since this really seemed to tork my family last time....I decided that I will get up at the early hour to make rope drop, my daughter has said she will tour with me. The boys will stay behind and sleep in a bit and then meet up with us later. Then everyone will be happy! :goodvibes

Sorry I'm not more intresting to read right now, but I'm a little on the tired side. I've had about 10 hours of sleep in the last two nights, so please forgive this worn out girl. :goodvibes

I've never done a PTR so this is a first and I'm afraid not to fun to read, but maybe over the next couple of months I'll be able to provide some funny and some blessings to come y'alls way. :goodvibes

Blessings to you all.

Since I'm not good with technology, mainly up loading the pictures from the camera to the computer. I won't be able to post the pictures I have for my count down calendar as of just yet.
I'll be able to get those up here before to long. :goodvibes

Does anyone else have some pictures to post about how they've been planning or counting down? My kids think I'm nuts but I don't care, it's fun trying to plan and making it fun doing the count down.

Hi Millie! Looks like you've got some great plans! I'd love to see a picture of your son's face when he realizes you're not staying at the Pop! :rotfl:

I'm so ready to go!!! I'm tired of being cold and I want to go to my happy place. Spring has got to come soon (I hope).

Did I miss it somewhere (ummmm, I guess what I am saying is I am too lazy to go back and read) but did we ever decide on a meeting place?

:goodvibes cinderella crazy, I can't wait to see his face too!! He'll be so surprised!!

Ok... so I will just throw it out there:

What about Fountain View Ice cream sometime in the middle of the afternoon? It could also serve as a milkshake/ icecream break.

Any other ideas??

disney2009sept038.jpg

We are super excited for a DIS meetup!:cool1:

Hi Whitney & Ben! :welcome: Can't wait to meet you!!

Q-I will have to look that location up as I'm not exactly sure where that is. My mind is blanking out. I definitely think a shady spot, a cool treat, and/or something to occupy the little ones would be a great combination!

Sorry to be MIA, I agree that a spot with treat avalibility is great.

Didn't think we were going then but now we are. We were at the MMM last year. Would love to meet up again. Hope we can make it but not sure of the who, what, when yet since we just decided to go.
