Maybe a Stupid Question, but....

Just Fall. I don't finish school until May 15th, so I'd REALLY be cutting it close had I applied FA, and got in on a May arrival date. I want to have time to pack, get ready, etc..

My daughter graduates May 16th--one of her friends does too-- she interviewed, her interviewer asked her if she'd be willing to do housekeeping--she said yes and was accepted right away. My daughters interviewer never asked if she'd be willing to do housekeeping--it wasnt one of the questions-- she told my daughter she has a good work background-- but that was it. This is the only chance my daughter will have--she cant apply once she graduates. Then came the pending letter. So, both my daughter and (her friend whose all set to arrive May 20th) -- have been wondering what the verdict is for my daughter. If its yes-- believe me, there will be some pretty fast packing! And I'll be the one doing most of it bcuz she's trying to finish up at her school and graduate. No time to come home between now and then. It'd be hectic, but worth it. Maybe you're right-- maybe thee Magical Day will be the on the 17th. We will all keep hoping!

They asked me about my restaurant experience, but didn't really try to place me anywhere, or asked me about a position I didn't check off.

Thank You! And good luck to you too! Ya, they didnt try to place my daughter anywhere or ask her about a position she didnt check off either. I wonder why they did with my daughters friend? I guess it might depend on the interviewer? Some interviewers seemed more friendly and talkative than others--my daughters interviewer got straight to the point with each question from the get-go thru to the last question and only commented that she had a good work background-- no other comments were made. oh well, keep posting so I know what happens with you and I will do the same!

Hi! Your probably right about it being a long day for the interviewer when she called my daughter-- the interview took place at 4:15 pm on a Saturday. At least Rebecca returned your call. My daughters recruiter wasnt Jannah and hasnt returned an email or a call my daughter placed to her-- but its understandable that they're busy-- its just that after awhile, you feel as tho you're being ignored. Left out in the cold! Well, the 17th is almost here--we're trying to stay positive-- its hard to do-- but we're trying. Good luck to you and keep posting!
