A little info about us: We will have been at Blizzard Beach all day. Planning on going to MK after dinner. Our children are 10, 8 and almost 3. We are traveling with the grandparents. So we have 7 in our party. We are on the DDP. We are staying at ASM and using Disney transportation.

Which has the better food?( most important), Better atmosphere? Better service?

Of the two, we liked both but Maya Grill was better food, and far better atmosphere. Service was good at both. Olivia's is just generic-Disney-Dining-room, nothing special about the decor. Maya Grill, on the other hand is pretty awesome--"mayan" temple decor, kind of dark (but in a good way) and flickering fake torches all over (well done, but not real flames, lol.) Kind of like you're sitting in a movie set. Strolling guitarist was pretty cool, too.

It will not be easy getting around to either of these resorts...it's just not easy to go from resort to resort using Disney transport. You have to go from your resort to either a park, or the Transportation & Ticket Center, or to Downtown Disney. Then from one of those locations, you have to get a resort bus for your restaurant location. Both places you can wait 20-30 minutes for a bus, and then each bus ride can be 10-20 minutes depending on where you're going. So it can easily take you 75-90 minutes to get from your resort to one of the out-lying resorts for a meal.

I booked Maya Grill. I think it will work great for us with transportation. It's only 10 minutes from Blizzard beach. Then 30 minutes from MK.

There are no buses to and from resorts at the Transportation and Ticket Center. The only Disney buses you can catch at TTC are to Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. To transfer to a resort bus in that area, use the Magic Kingdom bus stops.

If you are going to Maya Grill straight from Blizzard Beach just take a bus to Coronado Springs, then get on the MK bus at Coronado.

If you are going back to All Stars first...the best thing to do would be transfer buses at AK or Blizzard Beach for the Coronado Springs bus, if they are still open.

I enjoy them both. I find Olivias to have a nice enough atmopshere, its beachy in theme. But I do think its noisy! It has tiled floors and the noise just bounces off them and it can get way too loud in there. So for atmosphere, I do give Maya Grill the edge. For food and service, I have enjoyed both equally.

Maya Grill is much more subdued and generally less crowded. Here is a photo of the restaurant:http://allears.net/acc/csr/cs2010b15.jpg

I think you made a great choice but then I don't think you could have made a bad one!

If you are going to Maya directly from BB that will be easy. If you are going from All Star Music, I highly suggest you take a cab. ASMU and CSR are located pretty close to each other. It would be less than $15 with the tip. The bellman at ASMU can call you cab that will be a van and will seat your party. We have done this many times (from ASMU most recently) with my inlaws. Its just too hectic to get from resort to resort to eat so taking a cab is very easy and hassle free. Then you can easily take the bus from CSR to MK.

Now if you are going from BB to CSR, just hop on the CSR bus at the water park and you'l be there in no time!
