Any thoughts on this restaurant? We will probably be staying at CSR on our next trip and I thought we might try this restaurant. Any reviews would be helpful.

We have always been pleased with the Maya Grill. I think it is one of the unsung heroes of WDW!! The food, while not gormet, is certainly excellent! I have had the ribs, grouper, steak, and something else. We make it a point to go their each year. Oh - and they have the BEST Margarita's on Disney property! As it is not a heavily frequented restaurant, it is quieter and easier to get a reservation - this is a big plus for me! Their desserts are really wonderful to eat and wonderful to look at. You won't be disappointed, rest assured.

I love the breakfast buffet. It's a great value for the price. Probably one of the cheapest buffets at WDW. Everything was very good including the service.

I'm excited to hear that! We have breakfast reservations for one of the days we're there. I'm hoping they have eggs :)

We have booked to eat supper there.. the menu looks good
I am sure they have eggs at a breakfast buffet

We ate at the Mayan Grill once and really enjoyed it. As a previous post said their margaritas were excellent. My husband still talks about them. When we went they brought out margaritas in a small chilled carafe. We enjoyed them so much I am not sure if my memories are more of the margaritas than the food, but the others in our party all enjoyed the food, even those who didn’t get margaritas.

We had the breakfast buffet with members of our wedding party last October and some of our group were a little disappointed. They felt we could have gotten just as good of a breakfast and saved money in the food court. It was ok, nothing spectacular. The one nice thing was it was very quiet in there and not very crowded. We were able to have our large party seated together and waited less than 5 minutes.

I had a great breakfast there a few years back...some sort of egg dish with chiriso sausage...really yummy. But that was before it became a buffet, apparently.

The margaritas are also excellent, as others have noted.

Thank you for posting the menu! Wow, looks very good :)

Here's the Maya Grill review section of my trip report

After the parade we hopped back on the bus to CSR for our reservation at the Maya Grill. As usual we were seated instantly and suprisngly, almost had the place to ourselves. Our waiter who was from Columbia was very informative and attentive and timely. We had a delcious meal of shrimp cocktail, fillet mignion, mashed potatoes, vegetables and soft drinks, we also ordered alchohol along with our meal and then we ordered desert. I had the chocolate murenge filled with chocolate mousse, surrounded by fresh berries and drizzled with raspberry sauce, my wife had a Bannana cake type thing with coconut ice cream that she raved about. We both agree our meal was fantastic! The presentation especially was quite special!

We used to love having dinner there when it first opened. It featured nuevo latino food and since we've traveled in South America, it was a real treat for us. They've since moved to a menu of boring steaks and chops (no doubt to better accommodate the convention business).

So, we still go occassionally. But, we don't order entrees. Instead, we get a few appetizers, which retain some of the latin flair, and desserts, which are still pretty good. And, they've always had great margaritas.
