I have been to WDW many times and while not an expert, I consider myself accomplished at maximizing the time we have there. This will be my first trip to Disney during Covid and I am at a bit of a loss to make sure I am doing what I need to in order to get the most out of the experience.

We are going mid May and it will be me and my 2 sons who are both graduating from College.

So things that have been done so far...
Tickets purchased
Parks reserved
We are not going to do dinner reservations so that is not a concern.
There is no FP+ right now so no ride reservations

Am I missing anything? Park hours seem to be a bit fluid so we will need to be flexible with start and end times.

Thanks in advance.

If you're going to DHS and want to ride Rise of the Resistance, I would definitely read up on the boarding group process and start practicing now.

Also sounds like you will be doing a lot of QS, so be sure to familiarize yourself with Mobile Ordering.

Are you staying on site? Did you order magic bands?
We are not staying on site and we have magic bands from a previous trip. Need to make sure they still work.

Those are good tips. We have ridden RoTR so I have done the boarding group thing when it was the whole day at 7AM. Have not done it since they broke it into 2 slots.

For QS dining, I will totally look into that. Thanks!

I would read up on current park opening proceedures and make a plan of attack for at least the first two or three rides in each park. The parks are opening before published opening time and many rides are running early as well. Which rides are rope drop priorities may have changed a bit due to social distancing as well.

They will work. ALL magic bands ever attached to an account will work indefinitely for everything that matters. If older than 2-3 years, they won't work for automatically linked ride photos, but that's pretty much it.
