May the Force Be With Us May 2012 Dining Review Updated Narccoosses

We made it! Checked into CSR and was upgraded to club level for free :cool1: lounge opens at 5 so I will get photos of the offerings. Lunch at Chefs was Fantastic and Remy showed up;). Resting in room right now as getting up at 3:30 totally sucks and we are feeling it now. Onto Boma tonight. Crowds were light at Epcot, lots of adults and not a lot of kiddos observed today.

How awesome for the upgrade!!! Yay for Remy - glad you stuck with your plan. :goodvibes Looking forward to hearing more!

Good Morning! Our DW part of our vacation is now over and we are heading to Sarasota this morning. I am here in the club level lounge having one last breakfast then we are off to the Ritz in Lido Key. I cannot wait to share with you all our dining experiences, we had some changes and surprises along the way and had a nice relaxing resort based vacation.

I can't wait to read your dining reviews!

That is so exciting that you got upgraded! I hope you had a great trip at Disney and enjoy the rest of your trip! :goodvibes

Thanks! We are here now at the Ritz Carlton Sarasota, and their club level is the best experience of any hotel stay in my life! May have to put some pics here for you all to see, highly recommend!

Glad to hear you had a nice relaxing trip. Please feel free to include your Ritz stay review as well. ::yes:: Can't wait to hear about your changes and surprises. :thumbsup2

Made it back home last night, there really is no place like home :goodvibes My DH suitcase was lost by United Airlines, but we lucked out they delivered it to our home in the middle of the night, thank goodness. I will start uploading photos to start our dining trip report.

Subbing so I can hear all about your great eats!!

We'll be there for SWW on June 8th and I cant wait!!

Lunch Chefs De France May 17-Lunch

After much drama at the airport with the rental car (DME :worship: I missed you sooo much), we made it just in time for our lunch ressie. I ran through Epcot in flip flips with my DH walking behind because I did't want to miss it. Of course I show up and the restaurant is half empty :rotfl: We were seated by the window and was able to see the little show while we dined. Needless to say I am so happy we ate here, it was one of the highlights of our trip. We both ordered ice tea (after all that running, I needed it!). The waitress brough out a hot loaf of french bread while we look over the menu.

For appetizer I chose the Goat Cheese and Tomato Flatbread, which was excellent. I only had one slice and took the rest to go. Two people could easily split this. My DH had the pate, cheese board which was out of this world good. The pate was really good with the hot french bread.

I was worried that my little Remy wasn't going to show. I have never seen him before and love him to pieces and was so happy when he stopped by!

Now onto our main entrees, my husband had the braised short ribs. The meat was so tender it fell of the bone! I also had the salmon and it was the best I have ever eaten.

Dessert I had the creme brulee, it was okay not the best but not the worst. My husband had the macaroon with ice cream, which he loved.

We loved our meal here and will be back for sure!!

Love Remy's "handler", too!!! He just really plays his character well.

Signing on for more......

Okay, that's it, you've convinced me to give Chefs de France another chance. That all looks delicious! DH and I ate here for dinner on our honeymoon in 2009 and it didn't really thrill me, but I felt like we ordered very poorly that time. I am now finally convinced to put it at the top of my list to try for lunch next trip. Great start! Can't wait to read more :thumbsup2

It's been quite a long time since I've been to Chefs. Perhaps it's time to add it to the list on my next visit! The goat cheese flatbread looks great!

Everything looks so good! And I love Remy, too! :)

DH and I were supposed to have lunch there on our last day of the last trip...but we took a nap instead. We were so worn out by the end of the week! I do wish we'd managed to make it. I don't think we'll be stopping by this year...but you never know... :)

I really enjoy chefs as well!! I made my reservation for dinner though, in November, so unfortunately I'll be missing Remy!

I love all the light that streams into that restaurant. It's my fav!!

Looking forward to more reviews!
