May Park Hours

May park hours for before Memorial Day have remained unchanged for quite a while and are sitting at the standard 9-9 mainly. I am guessing there has not been an update yet until more clarity is given surrounding Toy Story Land? Does that seem logical and I should anticipate some changes soon? Or will the current ones likely hold up?

Thanks Robo. Frustrating, but trying to avoid DHS on key dates as best we can, so doing my planning now. Last year they released the revisions pretty early with Pandora, so I'm sitting here fingers crossed it's the same. There was more info about Pandora coming through by this point though so I anticipated a bit more.

Disney has gotten slower and slower with the release and updates of hours and events.

If you’re talking early May, the last couple years there hasn’t been a lot of change in the hours. A little bit for AK and DHS but our experience has been that since it’s a moderate time the average hours are about what you get.

I do wish they would announce an opening date for TSL. I was going to look back to last years threads to see when Pandora opening was announced.

May 27th was just announced to be Galactic Nights at DHS. Now sure TSL will open that weekend now.

Pandora opened Memorial Day weekend if I recall correctly so we should see some DVC and AP preview nights in the weeks leading up. They didn't announce them till the last minute, We'll be there May 12th-19th so I am hoping for one those preview nights if not it will have to be next trip.

@Rocketeer53 ...we are there the same dates. We go the same week every year (Canadian long weekend right before Memorial Day), so we also saw those previews last year too, but didn't actually visit, as we aren't AP holders.

I hope they have AP previews for Toy Story as well as Star Wars. Pandora was the first time they did AP/DVC previews

I'm not sure what you're saying.

They did AP previews for Expedition Everest.

Little did we know that those previewers were some of the (relatively) few guests who got to see the Yeti in full-motion "A" mode.

Not thrilled about the Star Wars party - as that was our DHS day and now I'm having to rework ADRs for a group of 12 to switch the days around.

I'm fine with planning so far in advance but when they make changes like that after you make the ADRs, it's a pain to change it up.

Only a party of 7 but our DHS day was the 27th also. Now wondering if TSMM is closed still as TSL has not opened yet, we migth just skip it this trip. Sad but without hoppers just can not give a whole day for it this time.

Ahh I wasn't around for that. I've only been around for NFL, Pandora, and Frozen.

That would've been nice to get in an AP preview for that and see the yeti working
