May Park Hours

Urgh, didn't think I would ever complain about late park hours but 11 pm is soo late for little ones . There is no way I'll be able to keep mine up until that time to watch Dreams - presuming it will start at 11 pm and finish 11.20 pm ish? So late for children :sad2:. I was thinking 10.30 pm would be hard enough for me.

There's no pleasing me is there :lmao:

Fingers crossed Dreams stays at 10.30 pm showing for park closing at 11 pm :confused3. I guess time will tell.

im hoping for a 9.30pm showing as i def cant stay awake that long!!!

You might be surprised all our girls managed to stay out for the fireworks 2 nights in a row last August. On the second night we did 8am - 11pm as we were staying offsite so it was a pain going back to the hotel. I plan to rest in the afternoons when we are going to stay out for dreams:goodvibes

Over the long easter weekend they have been having two showings but I'm not sure if it will be dark enough at that time in summer?

for the first time ever, thats what I'm planning to do too this year, have a break in the afternoon back at the hotel and see Dreams every night :).

i know..... but im gonna hope.... not sure if i can pull the boys (and myself) away from the park for a break lol hopefully the june hrs will b up very very soon lol

Wow. 8am until 11pm. That's going to require quite a big afternoon break!!

Oh well. Earl and a nap each day is hardly going to be horrible! ;)

Totally agree about nap in the afternoon but tell that to my two children :rotfl2:. I'm hoping by the second day that they'll be so shattered that they will have a nap but who knows. They aren't children for sleeping in the day at all (DD2 dropped her afternoon nap very early) so we'll see.

As I said earlier, I'm just hoping that perhaps they show Dreams at 10.30 pm (agree not dark enough at 9.30).

DLRP Magic will probably crash when we all dive on to look at June hours and schedule when they are up

And, we'll all end up in the same spot for Dreams as well - will be full of Dis-boarders! :goodvibes :thumbsup2

Looks like (somebody) may be taking advantage of the Happy Hour at Ludwigs while everyone else is having an evening nap...

:dance3::dance3::drinking1:dance3::dance3:

I've been so excited about Dreams, and we will definitely see it, but yeah it's going to make for a difficult couple of days having children awake that late. Neither of mine have been brilliant sleepers and naps are tricky but I'm another one hoping they'll be sufficiently worn out. In which case they'll nap or else they'll meltdown altogether

I'm having this dilemma too. I want to see Dreams every night, but I love EMH. Not sure we'd be able to do both for 4 days straight.

Might just do Dreams first and last nights. :lovestruc

mine dropped naps when they were 1, so were talkin over 5 yrs ago lmao they seem to have duracell batteries as need very little sleep - but am hoping maybe 1 day they will nap lol

we only get 3 chances for dreams, and one of those is our first night - after gettin up to catch a 6.30am flight!!! cud b interesting hahaha

I can see a lot of meltdowns happening in the park with these hours :lmao:. And that's just the parents :rotfl2: :rotfl:.

Seriously though I agree about the meltdowns, what with the excitement and the tiredness - oh my goodness it's like dynamite (hoping the pushchair proves useful for naps if not in the rooml!?)...

I too love EMH as I think it is a huge thing for the little ones with lots of Fantasyland being open without huge queues so I doubt we'll miss that. In fact a few days I intend for us to go into EMH then come out just before park opening to have breakfast a bit later :goodvibes.

I know we shouldn't be complaining about park hours being longer! But with something as spectacular as Dreams, you don't want to miss it if you are only there a few nights. I'm hoping we'll get 3 nights out of the 5 but that is probably ambitious! :rolleyes1 I also have to remember that it is my DD1's half term (meant to be a time for recuperating as they are always shattered by half term and ready for a break), so the last thing I want her to do is go back to school shattered ...
