May MK hours - venting frustration :-)

Thank you. I’m hoping to move my first FP down to my last FP (move a 5:30-6:30pm over to a 8:30-9:30pm). That way I’ll have more time to nap or relax by the pool before we head over to the parks.

Just updating. Due to the new late hours, I was able to move our FP for 7DMT from 5:55pm over to 8:55pm-9:55pm on May 7th. There were still a couple late hour FP’s available for that ride.

Extra pool / nap time is now in my future.

It looks like MK is staying open later (10 pm) which means EMH on the 16th are now from 10 pm - 12 am

Same for my MK night on May 7... I'm so happy because we get the extra hour in our eve emh!!

May the 4th is known as Star Wars Day.....may the force......and I am sure fans will be at the park in abundance.

Yup, my family will be there. Might not be the best idea in terms of crowds but it was a request by my DS who really wants to be there that day. We are entering park 2:30pm, have FP for RnRC, ToT and ST (sadly no TSMM at that time ). We have dinner ADR at Mama Melrose and otherwise plan to just do character meet, launch bay, shopping, soak up atmosphere. We have never seen Star Wars fireworks so that is our evening priority.

Us too. We are going in June so no extended hours for us, hopefully soon! We have never been able to do AK at night as right now we have a half hour between sunset and closing time, which is definitely not enough time. I sooooo hope this bodes well for us to get extended hours too so we can have some time at night in Avatar as well as being able to see ROL and the tree of life, and doing the nighttime safari on our other AK night. Fingers crossed!

There should be extended hours. They extended June 1 and 2 already. Basically they have been extending hours on the Fri or Mon around mid month the month before for awhile now (at least the last two years). It is Disney's way now, it seems.
