No, I found it on Ajaccio board of cruisecritics as the best excursion for the adventure traveller. Having a 19 and 21 year old on this cruise I needed to plan some of these types. Disney doesn't offer it. Not sure which cruise company does.

I have done zip lining in Alaska and NH. LOVE IT!!!

I might have to look into in Ajaccio. Thanks for the information. :thumbsup2

FYI, prunielli gorges are closed dut to the road being wipped out by winter weather....they cancelled all excursions there

Send me a PM with your name and reservation number for the late dining group. I'm going to send the table requests to DCL this week. dfsc

Oh, wow! I hadn't heard that. When did that happen? I wonder where ABD will take us instead? Maybe to Les Calanches? That would be cool, too!

Sayhello

ETA: So I called DCL to ask them about this and they say ABD has not officially cancelled our excursion yet. Since it's still 22 days until our cruise (:yay:) they're in a "wait & see" mode. They'll let us know if something else gets substituted. I guess it's easier for them to cancel & reschedule our excursion, since it's all under their control anyways, than it would be for dozens of folks taking the regular DCL excursions.

I noted an updated email from DCL on embarkation in another thread. Key information is the same; however, there's a bit more detail so I updated it on the "Cruise Info" tab. Also added rashdecision to the early dinner group.

Lanyards: Got about half of the badge images done - with the blank made it's a simple cut, paste and save. Laminator is here. Lanyards and name card inserts are scheduled to be delivered today by UPS. :thumbsup2

DIS meets: I put the Embarkation Meet time in the Promenade Lounge at 3:30 pm. If someone thinks it should be earlier or later, let me know.

Can I be selfish and say that the ABD welcome reception is at 3:30 pm on Embarkation day? I honestly have no idea how long it's supposed to last. Obviously there's only a few of us that this will matter for, but I guess if I don't ask, I definitely won't get... I'm not sure what would be a better time... People with early seating will need to start getting ready & head to dinner after the muster drill. :confused3 If the Meet started at 3, I could at least attend a bit of it...

Thanks Jeff for working on the badge!!! :thumbsup2

Can you add me to the early seating group? We are on the waitlist for late seating, but my guess is that we won't get it.

Also, I noticed that you don't have any category 5 for the stateroom crawl, if I am not mistaken, I think we got assigned a category 5, so you can add our room as a stop. I would like to go see other categories though.

Jeff the lanyards look great thanks for all the effort you've put in to this forum and the website. 3pm is fine by me. not long to go now i'm on :cloud9:

To be added to the dinner seating groups you need to PM dfsc (Felicia) your full names and reservation #. She's is coordinating those with Disney. I would think with your little one, Early Seating would probably be better anyway.

On the stateroom crawl, first of all thanks for volunteering! :thumbsup2
I looked up your room and it is a Cat 5 but seems to be the same type of room (larger verandah with metal rail) that we already have as a Cat 6...just on the other side of the ship. What I think would be better is if we could get a Cat 5 that has one of the regular sized verandahs with the plexiglass rail/wall for comparison. Speaking of the crawl, in addition to the Cat 5, we still don't have a Cat 10, or Cat 11/12. The Cat 11 and 12s are the same type of room so I don't think we need to do them separately. It would be even BETTER is for the Cat 11/12 if we could see one of the sideways Cat 11s like Welsh Girl has...hint hint. :)

Roll Call Photos: Added pics for Pixiedust512, Bubby627, Ariel412, ICollectBelle and Appleguy.

Roll Call List: Added friends of andgon, taras, and dixiecruisegal. There are almost 100 staterooms on the Roll Call now. You won't be able to swing a cat without hitting a DISer on board. :rotfl2:

Im good with 3 pm as well. We are planning on spending the day at the aquarium before we take off so any earlier for us may be tough. If we miss it though it will be alright b/c we have so many events and meets planned that Im sure we will catch up. I appreciate everyones advice on Corsica. I think I may plan a trip to Les Calanches if still available.

Jeff, knowing that you live in the great state of Alabama, I need your insider information on a vital matter. Is Talladega going to be rain out this weekend?
