THANKS SO MUCH TO JEFF for planning the Palo Brunch. I was thrilled last night to see that we will be enjoying an elegant brunch the last day at sea. Thanks again for all your extra efforts!

My pleasure. You know I thought we might have a good chance at 1 or maybe 2 groups making it but all 3?...I thought the chances were slim. I'm so glad all 3 groups were approved. BTW, I've never personally seen the private dining room so I did some Google sleuthing and found the following. You can see the mural pixiedust was talking about. Opposite the mural are windows with pull down shades. Looks like the room then would be on the opposite side of the Palo entrance.

If you're asking about the Palo Group brunch, unfortunately no. The 3 groups are completely filled. We actually had enough people to fill up a 4th group but there is only 1 brunch seating and they are only offered on the Sea days. Sorry.

Man, I feel so bad for the folks on the Apr 24th cruise. With all the cancelled flights in, out of & around Europe, I'd be freaking out right about now if I was supposed to be in Barcelona in a week!

I just hope it's all a bad memory by the time mid-May rolls around...

Looks good, thanks for the link. I am going to be struggling next week trying to figure out how to fit everything that I want to bring and keeping it down to like 35 lbs. All I can say is you guys are going to see alot of the same outfits from me and I'm going to be doing wash a couple times.

Ah, but the thing is, I hate doing laundry at home! The whole idea of doing laundry while on *vacation* just makes me go !

To allow Genna to have 11 dresses to wear on the ship, i'll be sacrificing a good proportion of my 20KG baggage allowance to her. Apologies if I start recycling outfits towards the end of the cruise

She has already picked out most of the clothes she is wearing. If my calculations are correct, after she's added her shoes, I will be able to fit 1 pair of trousers, 1 polo shirt and a pair of shorts.

I will be doing laundry as well, I am packing Purex Complete 3-in-1 Sheets. They take up little room and then you won't have to pay for soap and dryer sheets.

I found individual packets of Tide in the travel section of Target. I always take some of those and some dryer sheets...easy peasy!

I don't understand why you wouldn't get a PM as they're all retained on the DIS site. You go to the upper right corner of your screen and click on the "Private Messages" link.

There was a thread on the main board about those purex things where a lot of people said they can leave spots that don't come out.

Worth checking out if you've not used the pyrex 3 in 1 sheets before on the clothes you are planning on washing.

I have had problems with some PM's not arriving in relation to the FE aswell. There was definately a problem at some point last week.

I have had some problems with PM's as well in regard to the wine tasting so make sure everyone checks the list I will post next week to make sure your names on the list. Im heading to the lake this weekend (sunscreen in hand) so I wont check the board until monday. That should only be about 300 pages or so.

One side note. On our last cruise, my glasses broke at the frame and I went 5 days virtually blind. One thing I will never travel without is an extra pair of glasses and a copy of my Rx so I can get them refilled at a one hour store overseas if necessary. Lesson learned.

I think those people have less than 10 posts so can't PM, regardless, no apologies necessary. I appreciate your pulling the list together. Just trying to understand.
