I have PM'd each of you but just take note your FE group has gone down by 1 room after receving Lisa (STLUCIELADY)'s PM about having to pull out of the FE due to cancelling the cruise.

For those in groups with non-Dis friends can they pass this info on.

I have updated the lists in the online storage.

We're looking to rent a car with SIXT.com as well; thanks for posting the info. We'd be interested in sharing the cab with you over to pick it up. What time did you reserve your car for so we can reserve for the same times?

You guys are motivating me to do something on Corsica. Renting a car and driving over to Les Calanches seems like it would be an easy way to see more of the country.

Any other thoughts on a "regular set come and go as you please meet on sea days?

I think it's good. In 2007, the Promenade Lounge was the defacto meeting place because it's the only lounge area open all day and there's plenty of seating there. Given this cruise is earlier and the weather will be more mild, having an outside meeting place would work too as long as there is seating.

So it sounds like first sea day at 1pm. I will send an updated wine tasting list on monday or tuesday so if anyone is still interested or on the flip side is no longer interested if the time doesn't work for you, please let me know so I can give them an updated accurate list. Just PM me. Remember, I will need both the names of the people attending and the reservation number.
Jeff, would you mind updating the web site with the time and location. Thanks! BTW, love the lanyards. Holy crap, we leave in less than 3 wks.

It is with great sadness that we will be cancelling our cruise. My daughter Joanna has been in ICU in critical condition with multi system failure for the past 16 days in Celebration Hospital. We are very lucky to still have her with us. We do not have a discharge date and since she will need to have dialysis and extended care, we will be cancelling our cruise. It was very nice getting to know everyone here and I hope you all enjoy the cruise, I know we were so thrilled to be going. Hopefully we will meet up again on another Disney cruise.

The best thoughts of peace and serenity are sent to you and your family. I'm an ICU nurse and I see the terrible toll multi system failure takes on the patient as well as the family. I can't imagine what your going threw. I'm sure all the DIS boarders will raise a glass to you and your family on the cruise with kind thoughts and wishes.

I think I reserved it for 8:30 or 9:00. In my reservation I noted that I was arriving on the Disney Magic so they will probably know when cruise passengers will arrive at the airport. If there is quite a few of us renting cars we need to divide up when they pass out tender boarding passes. Then those that get the earliest tender will trade theier early passes with the drivers so they can get the cars as early as possible. Non-drivers can come later meet the rental cars somewhere in Ajaccio. Currently we have 3 drivers looking to share a cab. I haven't tendered with Disney so don't know exactly how they do it but this is my understanding.

Yeah, Jeff, that was the conclusion we came to about Corsica--glad AlohaJoe mentioned it here. We can drive to Les Calanches, and then we're thinking of finding a local beach on the way back to the ship.

We just saw this post. Our prayers go out to your daughter, you and your family at this time. We know what you are going through as Sonia's father was in the hospital since Easter Sunday. He, too, had to start dialysis,and now has been placed in a skilled Nursing facility for continued care. On an up note he is progressing.
Again, our hearts go out to you and yours. Stay strong.
