May/June Codes watch....

Throw me in the mix....I'm looking at the 2nd week in June for a 8 Day / 7 Night stay on-site.

Hoping for some good non-AP codes.....

Last year...we went on a 7 for 4 Dreammaker deal via Disney Visa at Pop Century.

This year I'm hoping to stay at a moderate for around $89 per night if possible.....

I originally wanted to buy an AP and return next year around Mardi Gras (mid-February 2006)....but, these MYW tickets are cheap enough to purchase a 7 day base ticket for each of us this time and another 7 day base ticket for next time so we are not restricted on going within 365 days of our first visit.....

We too are waiting for codes for May 8-13. I have a room only at WL at rack rate and I am playing a waiting game on Disney for the codes to come out. I am not holding up too well, I can't decide whether to get AP pass,(probably won't return for a few years), joing AAA and get their discount or take my chance on codes coming out and hoping Small World Vacations TA will have code applied. I was looking at the code history on Mousesavers and it looked like the room only code for 2004 came out around March 9. I am open for suggestions if anyone can calm my anxiety!

Just spoke w/Cm this am and she stated codes won't be out till Feb. I am liery (sp) though. I know I will keep checking until I have them. I'm so nervous that I will just miss them. Just my luck 6 mths of planning only to drop the ball at the last minute. I also belive my blood pressure is up this month. Do you think there is any relation between that and codes?

IF codes do come out, I'd like to go 5/27 - 5/31, but ONLY if it's a Star Wars weekend. So we'll see. I know DH & my boys would love to go for that weekend, but I'd have to convince DH first.

Your dates should be in the next codes we're all waiting for The current codes only go thru mid-April. Keep watching these boards and you'll know pretty much right away!!

I asked this question on a different board actually and was told that in years past the AP codes for May and June did not come out until at least March. Usually mid-March because they only come out 1-3 months in advance. : )

Absolutely correct--March 9, 2004 APs were released for 4/16/04 through June (maybe early July???) and, I believe, February 22, 2004 was a general code for discounts. APs were somewhat limited--more so than in years past. We were not able to get an AP rate, but had already received a DVISA rate which was equivalent to a general code issued in February.

I got an e-mail from Disney last week with a code for trips through April, and it said that it would also apply to selected dates in May-June. Unfortunately, I deleted the e-mail and just looked but it's not in my trash file either. If I get another one I will post it. It said you had to use the code and call a number to get it.
