MAY/JUNE Car Rental Thread

I don't know anyone who has a book, so I guess I'm going to look into buying a book. I'm just too nervous that I would get there, and then they would ask for a coupon or such. I know crazy me! But in the end even with buying a book I would be saving money.

The books are only about $20 on entertainment.com right now. If you wait another month or so, they will get cheaper.

Great, I'll look into getting one later then.
I do have another question... I hate to be a pain. Does Alamo at MCO have standard size cars? I was reading that they don't, people booked standard size cars and were told to pick from the full size cars. Does anyone know if this is true?

THey don't have a standard isle, however when you price standard cars the listed price is always the same as full size.

which would be better?
So should I pick a compact car that upgrades to a standard car or should I pick a midsize that upgrades to a full size car.

Since you will get a better price by double upgrading to a standard, I would pick the compact to double up to standard.

Check your Alamo rates. Mine just went down almost $40 using the codes previously in this thread for June 9 - 16. Thanks all.
