Is anyone else going to be there late May/ early June 2010? We did not make our trip there this year as planned, but have ressies for May 27th to June 6th. It would be nice to meet up with another fort fiend while there. I have requested the 1500 loop.

I just had to change my res from next week til May 24th to June 1st. Yes I am cryin and to make it worse I am watching the TV and they are showing the Behind the Magic show of all the decorations. This will be the first time in years that we didn't get a December visit in. YES CRYIN REAL TEARS! don't laugh

Well Bob and Kathy, maybe we will see ya'll there. ehmickey, you will be leaving the day we arrive.

I am getting excited. 151 more days. I am trying to start getting things organized now because I will have finals in mid-May and not sure how much I will be able to get done.

I am actually looking on craig's list for popups. That would be cool if I could buy one before our trip. They have a 10yr old Jayco for 1500 right now. A 20yo coleman for 900. I would rather the newer. I hope it is still there after the new year. Still just thinking about it though. May be easier just to stick with the tent.

My oldest son may be able to join us. I promised him his own tent if her came. We will be there for his 19th birthday.

I am checking out the menus on here getting ideas on what to bring. I don't plan on cooking too much as I am on vacation too, but if we are at the fort, might as well save money too. I do want to have breakfast at Whispering Canyon while we are there, but every other morning will be something quick at the tent.

Anyone know how crowded it is over Memorial Day weekend. I did not realize we were gonna be there for that. Saturday and Sunday I plan to hang on at FW, but Monday have AK planned. I am hoping it won't be too crowded, I am used to going in value season.

I am so excited. I want to start packing NOW!!!! Seeing that Ami was just passing through the gate earlier made me even more excited.

Hi,
We're planning to go sometime from Memorial Day through June 12th for about 10 days. I was wondering what kind of rates we can expect during that time. Last time we went was August/Sept. 2006 and paid about $65 or less per night. I don't know if we can expect any discounts during the May/June time period.

The tent rate is 72 a night for that time, but I got a AAA discount and am paying 61 (that is including tax). My Passporter lists the sites for regular season as:
Partial - 63-66
Full - 80-83
Preferred - 85-88

It gives no listing for premium.
