May hours question: IASW and Prince Caspian

I know the park hours are not released until 4-6 weeks before, and the info on the DIS: Disneyland Park hours are at best a guess. BUT, it came to my attention two things on those forecast park hours: (1st week of May)
1. It's a Small World refurb. Why?? I haven't read any refurb for IASW.
2. Extended hours on Wed May 2nd for Prince Caspian parade?? it also says "Magic Kingdom". I checked on the WDW site in case DIS has the information mixed, but nothing of the sort is mentioned.
Does anyone know what this is all about??

The Prince Caspian pre-parade took place a few years ago and it may have coincided with the major IASW refurb (I am going to go out on a limb and say 2008?)

They may be using historical data to predict this year's opening hours. I keep up with Mouseplanet and there hasn't been a sniff of a IASW refurb for May. That would leave an awfully big dead spot in Fantasyland with the Matterhorn being down until June.

I update the park hours on the DIS at a couple times a week (taken directly from the Disneyland website), but you're right they only release them about 6 weeks out.

I still haven't figured out where the "historic" information is coming from. Prince Caspian??

Once I start posting hours for a particular month, I try to clean out any wacky information like that to avoid confusion. For example, the hours for March aren't completely released yet, so the days that aren't released should be empty, except for the "historic" hours.

And you're right, for it to say "Magic Kingdom" is confusing. I'll get that fixed ASAP.

Definitely looking forward to May hours too! Can't wait to solidify plans and dining and such!!
