May hours are out only for the Magic Kingdom according to the Disneyworld site, looks like alot of 9-7's. Very few spectromagic shows and Fireworks. :-(

Regards,
Vince

I don't see ANY Spectromagic. Can this be true?
No day parade either??

Something's not Kosher in the deli here.

Clearly, the calendar is not yet complete. There are no hours posted for any of the other parks yet.

I have ressies for the Fireworks Cruise to watch the MK Fireworks on 5/22........the site doesn't have any fireworks that night. Does that mean I have a Fireworks Cruise with no fireworks??? :(

When you reserved it, did they specifically call it a "Fireworks Cruise", or did they give you a disclaimer or something, because during slower times, there are many times when there are no fireworks on a Thursday at MK.

They actually called it a Fireworks Cruise and even told me to call back in late March to get the exact time. They said the times for the fireworks were not out yet, and the boat ride starts about 30 mins prior to the fireworks show. I called a week ago and they gave me a time of 8pm for our cruise. So I was assuming that the fireworks started around 8:30 or so. Maybe I should call them and check on my reservation.....it's our 10th wedding anniversary and this was my gift to my DH, as he loves the fireworks. I don't think I want to spend the $120 just to cruise around.

I find it rather absurd that any Disney MK park would close regularly at 9:00 on a Saturday evening. I don't have a problem with it closing at 7:00 during the week.

I too have a MK fireworks cruise reserved on a night that there is no fireworks. If you recall, you do not pay for the cruise until that night of the cruise. They take a CC# for reservations only but do not charge you. What I did is keep the reservation, hey you never know - the disclaimer says hours can change at any time! However, I would trade the MK fireworks cruise for an E-Ride night any day!

Yes, it's true, you have reserved a fireworks cruise on a night there is no fireworks. :( I did the same thing. I had a boat reserved for Magic Kingdom fireworks on 5/23. I got the same story...call back later on to get the exact time, etc. When I did that, they told me there would be no Magic Kingdom fireworks on Friday the 23rd. I was able to get a boat though for the 25th which was fine with me. I wasn't going to cruise around for $120 and no fireworks either.

I'm also rather upset about the water park hours. They only have one park at a time open during the time we're there. I was planning to do TL on Tues, May 13, but it's closed. My kids really want to do the shark reef, which means we will have to go on a weekend day and I was told the water parks are murder on the weekends. Any suggestions?

OK, I looked and I'm there for 15 days (14 nights) and not a single night of fireworks or spetro, wow. No e-tickets and has anyone taken a look at the water park hours....OK, in case you haven't, One is open 4 days a week and the other is open 5 days a week, which means that only one water park is open each day, except Wednesday when both are open. BB is not open on Fridays and Saturdays---yes Saturdays, only one water park is open in MAY. Now this is a first for us. I've neve seen the hours get cut at the water parks. I've seen shorter hours, but never closed days. So if we go to the water parks, I guess they will be crowded unless we go on a Wednesday. WOW, the other hours were no surprise.

Thanks for posting this thread. I went to this site earlier today (around 1:30 pm) for this info and it was not posted yet. I was getting a little frustrated, trying to plan this trip - we leave May 15! Thanks again!

Seems that all the hours for all the parks & special events are now available for May, I got a message from WDW via email that they were updating the site throughout the day. The only thing that appears to be missing is Spectromagic and Fantasy In the Sky for the time period I am there. I had no idea what to expect in light of what has been going on in the world and I must say I am pleasently surprised. Everybody enjoy their trips and have safe ones!
