I just found out my baby cousin Lucas, just passed away this morning. He was born in Oct of last year with complications. The doctors said he may never walk or talk, and he has had a tough time ever since. He was a fighter.

My thoughts, prayers, and energy go to my cousin Stephanie and her family.

I am normally a very private person when it comes to this kind of thing, and I am not posting this for attention, but I know that the power of positive thought and pray do work. So please if you are a spiritual person, please send some love and light to my cousin and her family at this time.

Thanks.

Consider it done....love and light to you too:grouphug:

I'm so sorry.

I'm so sorry. :sad1:
I know it's probably little consolation to you or your family, but that tough little guy is now free of pain and difficulty.
My thoughts, prayers, and sympathy are with you and your family. :grouphug:

I've already posted on another board we both frequent but I'd like to say again that my thoughts are with you, Stephanie and her family.

What a beautiful little guy! :sad1:
Look at those blue eyes.
You and your family definitely have a beautiful little angel looking out for you now. :grouphug:

I agree what a cutie. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.:grouphug:

Lucas and your family will most certainly be in my prayers tonight :grouphug:

My thoughts go out to you and your family :grouphug:

I always have appreciated this poem, I hope you do as well.

"I’ll lend you for a little time,
a child of mine,” he said.
"For you to love the while he lives,
and mourn for when he’s dead.”
"It may be six or seven years,
or twenty-two or three
But will you, til I call him back,
take care of him for me?”

"He’ll bring his charm to gladden you
and shall his stay be brief
You’ll have his lovely memories
so solace for your grief.”

"I cannot promise he will stay
since all from earth return,
But there are lessons taught down there
I want this child to learn.”

"I’ve looked the wide world over,
in my search for teachers true
And from the throngs that crowd life’s lanes,
I have selected you.”

"Now, will you give him all your love,
not thinking the labor in vain
Nor hate Me when I come to call
to take him back again.”

"I fancied that I heard you say,
"Dear Lord, Thy will be done
For all the joy Thy child shall bring,
the risk of grief we’ll run
We’ll shelter him with tenderness,
we’ll love him while we may
And for the happiness we’ve known,
forever grateful stay

But shall the angels call him
much sooner then we’ve planned
We’ll brave the bitter grief that comes
and try to understand.”

I just cant help looking at his picture.

What a stong, brave, beautiful little boy!

And that poem, just perfect!

Again. Thank you all. I know my cousin thanks you for all your thoughts and prayer

I know that this is probably for the best for all involved, and I feel bad for thinking and saying that in a way. But at least the little guy isn't suffering any more.

What a beautiful, precious child. He changed your lives forever, didn't he? You'll always carry the bravery and courage of that little boy in your heart and in your memory.

Peace to the sweet babe, and to you and his parents.

Thank you for sharing his courage and life with us. {{hugs}}}
