May Exercise Challenge- 38,344 minutes!!!

I think I have everyone's minutes up to here. If I missed your minutes or your color change in the first post to show your progress, please let me know.

Also, I wanted to let you know that I am not certain if/when I'll be able to post updates this weekend. We are headed to Pittsburgh this afternoon for my husband's marathon which is Sunday, and to visit his family. If I don't get here over the weekend to update, be sure to keep posting your minutes and I'll catch up as soon as I can. :thumbsup2

35 today. C25K W1D3. We finished our first week!!! :cool1:

Today was great! The first 5 jogs I was loving it! At 6 we hit some hills and it seamed at the jog we were heading up hill and walking was down  but I pushed through! I'm a little mad at myself for not drinking enough water today before the run. I wont let that happen again!

My total so far for May

170/1000

Great job!!!!

Good job, everyone!! Keep it up :)

weights today. I'm trying to mix up weights and cardio... I must be totally out of shape, though, because this week has done a number on me. Tired, tired. Thought I would have to revise my number up, but I think 650 is just fine for now, ha. Next week should kill the adjustment pain!

So far I've been sneaking in at least 10 minutes of exercise every time I want to eat junk food. If it tells you anything, I'm up to:
228/2500

And it's only day 2! :rolleyes1

That is amazing dedication and discipline! :worship:

I'm at 12/900 for the month. Better get movin' (pun intended). ;)

Thanks for the warm welcome Cam! And thanks for hosting! :)

185/1200 only 40 minutes this morning on the elliptical

Cam- Ashleigh had to do a project on Finland for the 6th grade Country Expo. The national animal of Finland is the reindeer so we made a Finnish gingerbread cookie and cut them in the shape of reindeer! She said everyone liked them!

Just back from 6th Grade Kids Night Out that I helped chaperone. The kids mostly danced in the cafeteria. They could also watch a movie, play Wii games or board games or lawn games. There were 81 kids and about 8 chaperones. They paid $5 to attend and then could purchase water or snacks. They do this twice a year and they were so well-behaved!

Hoping to get in a workout at some point tomorrow but it's a crazy day with soccer, lunch with friends, dog-sitting and Ash is having a sleepover tomorrow night.

I'm treating myself to a drink now!

TTFN :tigger:

21 minutes walk/run on treadmill.

Did I mention I hate the treadmill? DH is out of town and I don't have anyone to watch the kids so instead of running outside, I'm stuck in the basement. Bummer.

Hello everyone! I am already far behind schedule to get in my goal number of minutes this month :scared1: I'll have to kick it up!!

Today I did 20 minutes walk/jog outside and 30 minutes WATP DVD.

62/1100 so far!!

226/1700

Just finished a 2.5 mile run. Had to laugh because my time was the same as Ted's! Then I saw that he ran much longer on a different day. He wins! :lmao:

Wasn't that great a week exercise-wise. I did manage something every day, but it wasn't a lot. Hopefully next week won't be so crazy and I can get more minutes in.

Keep up the good work everybody!!

45 minute walk today. My DH has been so great this week! He is in the military and really doesn't need to be doing C25K but is doing it to support me and he went on the walk with me today. Love that man.

215/1000 :)

Wow! You are fast! :cool1: Do you have a race on your calendar? DH and I will be at the Pittsburgh marathon this weekend; he'll run it. I am hoping to walk a lot of the course and get in many exercise minutes.

I've got many races on the calendar at the moment... next is a 5K on May 19th... it will be my third and I'm hoping to PR in it.

I have a 10K, a 10 miler and two half marathons already scheduled in the next 8 months. Can you tell that I've been bitten by the running bug?

Oh, and I ran today... 3.3 miles in 38 minutes. The first 5K was in 34:17 - an unofficial PR! Woo too!

Total time so far this month: 187/1600

Ted

You guys put me to shame, but I love the dedication I'm seeing!! :woohoo: Keep up the good work and, hopefully, I'll be posting some more numbers soon. Still feeling under the weather.:upsidedow
