May discounts

We are doing the Dream in May 2012 and thinking of adding on a few days in WDW as an add on - Do they usually only offer room discounts for May or have they ever in the past done free dining for May? We usually go during Oct and take advantage of free dining but my DS will be in K in 2011/12 so we figure it's better to take him out at the end of K instead of the beginning of 1st grade.
