I cashed out today to avoid the Friday/end of month line at the bank.

$20.22. Twenty for Disney Dollars and twenty two cents to start the June Change jar.

I know some of you will have huge totals. But, at this rate I'll have an extra hundred bucks when my trip comes Oct. 1

Waiting to hear how the rest of you did this month :)

I'm a waiter...I always have change, but not for Disney...lol I have trouble keeping enough to make change for everyone.:p :D :smooth: Guess I'll just have to save Dollar Bills instead:D

Cheers:)

We are collecting and going to do one big "cash in" before we go. But I would guess we would have for this month between $20 - $50. We just started saving some quarters (we split the quarters between the laundry jar and the WDW jar (piggy).

Our total for this month was $70. That's the best month yet, and even included a week at WDW! ;)

We rolled our coins the other night, but it was the first time in years. I got $156, but I don't expect that to happen again for a while. :)

I've been saving change since Sept. I didn't do a monthly count, but I just rolled it nd it came out to $428. and change. I'm paying the balance of my ressie with this. The change I save from now til July (thats when we go to WDW) will be for the laundry and the game rooms.

I have developed a little different version of this.In October,I started a small($5.00/wk)Christmas Club.I pay it with my loose change and by this coming October, when the checks go out,I'll have $250.00 with interest for our Christmas trip to Orlando!

I just counted the change from my console in the car. It came out to $40.00!!! My sister couldn't believe it--she said "Where did you keep that change in your car? 437 pennies took up the most space! I'm cashing it in for Disney Dollars!

Before our last trip up, I had my kids trained to save. I told them to put all the change they found into a big water jug. Every day, we all dumped our pockets. Anytime that they did their clean up for the night, ate all their dinner & did good things, I'd add a $1 bill each, as well. The deal was...whatever they saved, they got to spend on whatever they wanted on our WDW trip. Imagine our amazement when we counted it up a week before leaving & found the grand total to be just over $500.00!! I certainly didn't expect that. Thank goodness my daughter was logical enough to decide they didn't need that much for souvenirs. Instead, she decided they'd pay for a couple of meals. She felt like such a big shot. LOL

$26.00 in singles
$15.50 in rolled coin
$5.99 back in the jar

This month we started throwing singles in the jar in addition to the change

Well, I haven't been counting out on a monthly basis, but decided to do so this past weekend...$86 (minus the $7 fee from that change counter machine at our local grocery store, it came to about $78). My DD's 3 and 4 were so excited when they saw me getting the can ready, they put on an all-house search for any other change that may still be lurking around the house. The 3 year old was so psyched when she found around 18cents on daddy's desk. Anyway, I went straight to the Disney store and bought $100 worth of DDollars - I figured I scammed at least $14 out out of the can, so I made that up when I bought the DD.

BTW, I spent another $60 at Disney Store on the girls birthday presents who both have birthdays this summer before we leave. Got the cutest Cinderella pink small suitcase on wheels that was originally $26 but came out to about $15 after discounts. PJ's were $16 minus 35%, minus DC 10%. A great sale going on right now. They have the cutest Lilo & Stitch merchandise...

I'm rambling...

Just finished rolling change last night---grand total $83. Plus some left over coins for next time. I don't like to roll it every month though. I like to have it reach a certain level in the jar. It's amazing how fast it adds up though!!

I did better this month, $52 in change, $10. from bottle returns, and $4. from putting the money I would have spent on ice cream (if I hadn't been on a diet) with my kids.
At this rate, with a good code I might be able to upgrade to concierge for my 40th birthday! ( I still have 4.5 years to go!)

$38.00 for this month. Should of been more but I took out a bunch of change for Atlantic City Last weekend:D

I have also been going to the disney Store each week and buying $10.00 woth of disney dollars.

Everybody's doing great! :D It's very motivational to read how much everyone is saving.

Mine was $25.20 this month. I did a little better than last month so hopefully it will keep going UP each month!!

Amanda :)

I have been putting all the money from my coupon sales into the bank and had $215.00 I was so happy but most of it was thanks to the basic cigarette coupons I sold they alone brought in $116.

"Coupons I sold"???

Fill me in, do you mean that you put in the money that using coupons saves you? Or do you know a way to sell coupons.

If you are making money selling coupons, I'd sure love to know how!

I just rolled ours up. I got in on this late and so the total is for two months. It came to 340.00 CAD.

We go in July so I only have one month of change collecting to go.
