Part two, just to refresh, me dad 37, DS 6yo on his 4TH trip to Disney World, DB David 49, buddy, my best man, and DF, Donna, 36, fiance on her first real vacation ever,
period.
So after FP ing pooh bear, I run over to space mountain and grab 4. We amble over to mickey's toontown, and get a load of the afternoon crowd. We decide to stroll on into the tent and check out character row. I walk down one aisle, and low and behold- 30 minute wait.
Negatory, I advise my peanut gallery. So we go over to minnie's house, he does the kitchen thing like he always does, little hands everywhere. Then we go into mickey's house, no he still hasn't cleaned his kitchen, and walk to the judge's tent. There is a commotion going on, several parents are wrestling with their children in their strollers, and I peer into the vast hall.
IT IS FULL! I strike out again. So we exit and walk past the children's play area. Donald's boat looks vacant and I notice that the water sprinkler is not going. It's just not as fun, is it? DS screams to go on the toddler playground, we pacify him for ten minutes, then walk into tomorrowland and do the baby swap with fp. Lucky me, I go twice. We decide to eat and just miss the parade, well we saw the tail end and ran over to get the last few floats. My son is not entrhalled and starts getting his world famous attitude"I've done this before big deal". I trudge him out into the parade and he just stands there, arms folded, frowning, pouting. You get the idea. We go down main stree and I get our packages from package pick up and stash them in the locker. The camcorder has gotten really heavy, and I think briefly about stashing it too, but it goes back into the backpack. We get onto the train and head up to mickey's toontown fair. We stop in the toddler's playground, then take DF to belle's storytime. It is fairly short, about 15 minutes, I thought we would be able to get autograph, picture, no belle hooks it out of there, but we do get a sticker. We go back to mickey's toontown, do the barnstormer, more playground-the character lines got a bit shorter and we got the 100 acre wood gang, but still no mickey. We head to fantasyland to check dumbo-still running at least 30 minutes, everything is still packed.
So back over to tomorrowland, and on wedway people mover. I'm not inspired by the line for the spaceships, it kinda just sits there. DS of course is screaming to go on them, but I refuse to wait. I did promise him the cars, so we get in around closing time, my DB in lying down off on the side, so it is the three of us. We wait about twenty minutes, and get on. Somehow the parent in front decides to go slow. My DF looks lonely behind us. We are done for the day and slowly make our way out. We take the monorail out, hardly any wait, and then back to the hyatt to pass out. All in all, a good smooth day, and I foretell the gang for tomorrow's agenda-mgm studios, which opens at 9 on monday.
I pass out. My DF would get frustrated, as she says I would lie down, and then be out 1minute later. She says it took her at least 30 minutes to sleep. I told her
I'm just lucky.

my husband lays down and is gone........it takes me a while to unwind and relax.........I could of watched some more tv.....but shut it off to see if I can go to sleep..........The heat does a number on us too........thanks for the report:smooth:

Usually I'm the one who stays awake while dh is fast asleep but at Disney I'm out like a light. Boy yall were busy today! Hope the fun continues. :)
