May be a fluke - cheap PE upgrade on Virgin

I was just messing around with some dates for August, after getting an email about their special offers on USA flights.

I put in to fly out on 21st August and return on 28th August, which came out at just over £1800 for 3 of us - not particularly great. HOWEVER, it then gave me the option to upgrade on the outbound flight to PE for just £49 each - which, for Virgin, is an absolute bargain.

Not sure if it will help anyone or if it was just a fluke but you never know

I was looking at about 10pm last night just after this was posted, searched from Man and Lon for about 20 mins but could not find it.

Claire, it was on VA. I went onto the website via a link for sale price flights in an Email I received from them. I just put some dates in and it came up with those prices. Basically, once I'd selected the flight, it then gave me the option.

Unfortuantely, I didn't book it, no With DH being made redundant this October, we just aren't in a position to know what he is likely to be doing job-wise in August so no holiday for us till next year now

I was just able to do it via the Special Offers link on the VA home page - shame we can't book it...
