May at FW Cabins ******THE TIME IS HERE ******

OMG, LOVE those flowers!!!!! Very pretty!! I hope the cake thing gets sorted out, it would suck to get something ESPECIALLY that costs that much that he has a reaction to...I think if we do upgrade to the cabins for may, then we'll get one for the boys at publix, I know what I'll get with them! LOL

Great pics. Your flowers are beautiful. It was very sweet of Matt to send them. Nikko is quite the character huh??

I just noticed your comment "Hope the caketastrophe is handled without an issue." That is too funny.

I was very surprised with the flowers. They are so pretty. And yes Niko is a character. I think it is going to be a great adventure on the trip down to Disney because he absolutely HATES Matt.

I am hoping the cake turns out good. This time I will have it cut at the restaurant and if it isn't good I will say something. The cake in the picture with Tyler came from Walmart and it was soooooooooo good. So I agree, a cake from Publix would probably be better than the cake from Disney. I hope changing to the cabins works out.

I'm so glad you had a good Easter. The flowers are beautiful!! I love your Coke stuff! I like all that stuff too, the older the better. Have you been to the museum in Atlanta? The new one is awesome. You could go to the aquarium too. It's next door to it.

Niko's pose is very kingly. He definitely looks like the boss. I just love dachshunds.

The chocolate cake looked so good!

Sorry about the cake dilemma. At least you found out ahead of time!

Thank you!! I have a Coke poster I got on Ebay and it is very old. It is suppose to be an original poster from some movie thingie.

I have never been to the museum. I don't know if I could afford to go I would have to be drug out of the store......:lmao:. I have thought about going though and planning a weekend trip to Atlanta. Dallas would love the aquarium. We took him to the one that was in New Orleans when he was a baby, and we have a sea lab on Dauphin Island and he loved that too.

Niko is a mess. I taught him to rollover a couple of weeks ago, and now anytime he wants something he will rollover to get you to give it to him, without the command :lmao:

That cake WAS good. I had to eat a small piece and I have been good and stayed out of it since Friday. The icing was like eating a piece of fudge, oh me oh my.

Ok, I just got off the phone with Sonya and she changed the filling to white chocolate mousse :cool1:. She is so sweet. She said it is actually better than the raspberry anyway :thumbsup2.

I forget to tell this little story. We decided to forgo the big Easter baskets this year and give Disney money. Well, I did get Amanda and Tyler the one pounder chocolate bars and I bought all the stuff for Dallas a small basket. Amanda wanted a Chili's gift card so we gave her one for $25 and got Tyler a $25 prepaid Visa. Well, I was going to run to the Disney Store and get Dallas Disney Dollars, but I got so busy I didn't have a chance to get to the mall before Easter. Well, I was going to go today, but OH NO, not with Mr. Observant noticing everything. He came in my room yesterday morning at 5:15am, while I was getting ready for work, and informed me that the Easter Bunny had not left him a basket. As I tried to come up with something, my response was "the economy has hit the Easter Bunny too"....................:rotfl2:. Dallas didn't think it was funny :confused3. So in my haste to figure something out, I got out an envelope and colored markers and wrote HAPPY EASTER DALLAS and put $25 cash in it and hid it in the living room. As, I was leaving for work Dallas found it and was excited. So his dad and I say, "Isn't that better than another basket?" His response? "Well I guess the Easter Bunny is having a hard time with money too, he sure didn't give me much" :scared1::eek:. Now, I am wondering if he is just playing along with me and acting like he still believes in the Easter Bunny or not, but as long as he wants to play along, so will I.

Oh my gosh, poor Dallas!!!! Yea, Easter bunny hit us hard too, Tyler got chocolate, and reeses cups, and other small things, gave the reece cups to DH, which was sweet! But it was slim pickins here too!! Glad you got the cake sorted out!! I think it'll be about $55 more to upgrade, which won't be so bad, just have to remember to bring ear plugs for dad's snoring!!! :rolleyes1

Awe that was so sweet of Tyler. I thought Dallas was funny. April always hits us hard, with Amanda and Tyler's birthday and Easter. So our budget takes a big hit.

I had to post the pics of the Mickey pancakes I made for Dallas a few weeks ago. I saw on Pam's (3princesses+aprince) PTR that she had made some for her family. It was fun to make them, but for some reason pancakes at Disney are so yummy and mine are, well, just pancakes.

Cute pancakes. I have to make some this weekend.

I'm starting to think that Lindsey has figured things out too and is just playing along. As long as she wants to indulge me I will let her. Not believing is a sign of growing up. I want her to stay little for a little while longer. :sad2:

I KNOW Tyler knows about the whole Easter Bunny thing, a couple of years ago he was snooping and found my stash of basket stuff, ever since then, he's known. BUT, he still likes getting stuff, and I just can't take that away since he doesn't believe anymore. I think it's been harder on ME, cause he's my baby, and he's getting TOOO big!!! I don't wanna let go of some things!!

It's a good thing that you figured out the whole cake thing before you got down there. Are they going to charge you to change the filling?? I would hope not.
Niko is TOO cute for his own good!

How did you do that? Jenny would love those!

Pretty flowers!!!! That little dog is a cutie!!!
I made Mickey Pancakes the other day too. They just taste so much better when they look like Mickey!!!

I just poured the larger portion and then took a measuring spoon and poured the ears. They cooked together and then I turned it. Dallas loved them. He would want me to cook them everyday if I would........lol.

We love making Mickey pancakes too! DH found some pancake batter in a spray can (like whipped cream) and it makes making Mickey pancakes a breeze! We also like to add chocolate chips!

Oh, I know what you mean. Some of the nurses that work with me tell me I baby Dallas too much, but hey he is my baby. Amanda will be 21 next Thursday and Tyler turned 20 last Friday. I don't want him to grow up too fast. I missed alot of Amanda and Tyler being little because I was going to college full time and working full time. When I think about him growing up I think about an episode of The Waltons, where Elizabeth didn't want a little chick she had to grow up.

Dallas does the snooping too and that is why I think he is just playing around with me. This is a funny story. When Dallas turned 7 he asked us about birthdays. He said the Easter Bunny brings baskets, Santa brings Christmas, the Tooth Fairy gives money, so who give birthday presents? Dale, in his all knowing wisdom, said......................The Birthday Donkey.........:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:<<<<<this was me. I couldn't even talk I was laughing so hard. I had to tell Dallas that wasn't so, that parents, family and friends give the birthday presents.

Niko is TOO cute for his own good!

I am just randomly answering here in no particular order aren't I ?

I am sooooooo glad we got the cake taken care of. Sonya didn't mention an extra cost so I don't think it will cost more. Hey, at this point I am in neck deep so I would just have to pay it..........:rotfl:.

Niko knows he is cute too. He struts around outside like he is a German Shepard. The bad thing is he is a mean one. I think we need to call Ceasar.

Thank you!! I was really surprised with those flowers. But Matt's dad is a politician so he knows how to pour it on ;). Dale loves his dog. That dog gets better treatment than I.

I saw your pancakes posted and had to look back to see if I had posted mine and I had not so I had to add. I gave you credit for posting yours first :cool2:

I wish I had some chocolate chips and then Dallas would get him some more Mickey pancakes. I love them. Where did he find that batter? That would be great. Then I would make them for Dallas more often.

All this talk about chocolate chip pancakes , I gotta make them this week. I really want some right now, but don't have choc. chips
