May at FW Cabins ******THE TIME IS HERE ******

:woohoo:Woo Hoo for the anniversary trip!! My B-day is October 9 and I want to go during that time for the Food & Wine Festival. Maybe someday!!

I love what you did to the suitcase! Is that an iron-on? What a great way to personalize the luggage!

Your organizer looks great, glad to be your inspiration!:rotfl:

WOOOOHOOOOOO!!! A second trip!! Good luck planning separately, it's hard, I know!! I kept telling my photopass person that my dates in Sept were May 15th to the 19th LOL it's SEPT 15th to 19th, and MAY 18th to 20th. I told her I was blonde and went from there!! HAHA it's fun tho!! and well worth it!
We have only been to Disney twice in one year once. We went twice in 2005 to go to both Daytona races. We went for a couple of days in Feb and a couple in July. I guess I need to make the photopass reservation for my bunch. I didn't even do it last year.

The first time I went to Disney was the last few days of Sept. in 1986 but there was no F and W festival then. When we went in 1999 we at the end of October beginning of November, I can't remember if they were having the festival then or not. I had forgotten all about it so that will be fun.

Acutally it is stickers on the suitcase. I couldn't believe it either. I wondered how I was going to put an iron-on on the suitcase without melting the fabric. They had princess', PoC, Mickey, and I saw a castle. I am sure they had more but when I saw the Disney I had to have it.

I am glad I saw your organizer. I am loving mine. Thanks for being so creative :thumbsup2.

We are having some bad weather in our area. Way too much rain, thunderstorms, tornados, and flooding. A state of emergency has been declared for several counties. This is spring in the south.

I have decided to upgrade Dale, Dallas and my tickets to annual passes in May and dropping down to one day tickets on our October trip. I did the math and with what we have already paid an upgrade to 3 APs would only be $611 dollars more than we have already paid and dropping the tickets to one day base on the Oct. trip will save like $596 dollars so it will be $15 dollars or so to upgrade the 3 passes to APs. Then next years tickets will be paid for :thumbsup2. And then we can always take trips for long weekends :rolleyes1.

Oh yeah, no call about the cake :headache: I am getting info together to call them now. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR they close at 4:30 so I will have to call back in the morning . I know I won't be ordering a cake for Dale and me in October :sad2:

Thanks for the great idea. I got a clear folder like that today, too! I need to decorate it now! I am making some dividers with the colored paper I bought and some divider stickers I got. It should be fun. It will help me to relax and know I have the things I need in one spot. We asked Jenny if she wanted an un-birthday cake or money to spend and she chose money. So thats ok with me! Maybe another trip!!!Congrats on the October trip. We already know we are going home to California in the spring of 2010. So we will be Disneyland bound as normal again.

:thumbsup2 You're welcome, that will just get two jobs done at once.

It was fun to decorate the folder. Dallas keeps wanting to steal the stickers........lol. I will be headed back to HL to get him a card of stickers. I wish I could talk Dallas out of the cake, but he has been asking since we went last year and got the cake for Amanda and Tyler. I already owe him $100 because we had to get rid of Daisy. A trip to DL would be good too, plus you get the added enjoyment of visiting family.

I know...its hard though. We could do 3 or 4 days at Disneyland and with all my family and friends thats impossible. Plus we really want to do the San Diego Zoo and Sea World sometime. This next trip I told Jenny we can do Disneyland and then stay at the Disneyland Hotel and then do California Adventures. We will do it mid week when we go from family to a friends house for the rest of our trip.

I found a bag of things I had already bought...colored paper, index card holders, index cards, a large accordian file and stickers. Oops! Oh well...I can always use the paper to make things later on.

I have thought about going to Sea World while we are in Orlando this year. We have never been and I would like to go. I think Dallas would love seeing Shamu too.

Yeah you and Jenny can have craft time.

I called yesterday to check on the cake, I spoke with a very nice CM and she asked if it was ok to put me on hold. She came back right away and said she had spoke with Sonya and they were waiting for an answer from the chef. Well, while at work today I got a call on my cell phone. It was Sonya letting me know she had finally got an answer from the chef. For my 16" chocolate cake, with raspberry yogurt filling and chocolate buttercream icing, and a white chocolate Mickey it will be $80. $45 for the cake and $35 for the Mickey. She reminded me that if we change restaurants between now and the time of the ADR to call and let them know because they could sent the cake to another restaurant in DHS. She also said to make sure we let them know at the podium we had a cake and when we wanted it brought out. I am so excited .

And since I am upgrading 3 of our passes to APs I am also going to get the Tables in Wonderland card. It will save us about $100 this trip and the card cost $75, but with taking another trip next year it will more than pay off. It even gives the 20% discount on alcohol. I am looking so forward to this trip.

Dallas isn't feeling the best today, his asthma is acting up . We just finished a breathing treatment. We all need a break.

Congrats on getting the cake that you wanted! :yay:
I hope Dalls feels better soon. That asthma stuff isn't fun at all

Thank you. I am worried about that stupid cake . I have been more stress about a piece of pastry than I have about the whole trip.

Thanks again. My poor baby. He will go for months without a problem and then it will just act up again. I always bring his nebulizer with us to Disney and thank God we have only had to pull it out once.

The cake sounds delicious, glad you got it taken care of! I bought the TIW card last year & have used it on 3 trips so far, hopefully I will get to use it one more time before it expires.

Hope Dallas is feeling better soon :wizard:

:woohoo:Dallas is feeling better today :woohoo:. Thank you.

With the TIW card the cake will be $64 before tax and tip. I think that is pretty good. It is a total savings of about $20 on the cake alone.

WOW, WTG on the cake!! I hope it turns out good for ya!! :) I need to call and see what I can do for dh and ds...someone mentioned somewhere about a monorail cake, that I think I'm gonna go with, and that Nemo cake would be WONDERFUL for my mom!! She would LOVE that. But, I may change my mind a million times before September...it will be nice once everything starts coming together, and we have our ADR's for there and stuff. I hope you have a good weekend too, we got my step daughter here for the weekend, and I think we're gonna head over to sea world tomorrow....hopefully it's not TOO crowded there like it is at Disney right now!!

Glad you got the cake squared away! :goodvibes Great savings with the TIW card. :thumbsup2

My little Josie has to take nebs from time to time too. She does great for 9 months then all of a sudden here we go. I'm glad that Dallas is feeling better today. Poor thing. I hate neb treatments.

I read about he monorail cake too. I hope she posts pictures when she gets back home. If I hadn't already ordered my cake I would have surprised Dallas with the monorail cake. I really want this cake to turn out good and looks as awesome as the Nemo cake. You will have to post pics of both cakes you order. Have a good time at Seaworld. I would love to hear all about your Seaworld adventure. I am thinking about Dale, Dallas and I going over there this trip.

I am crossing my fingers about the cake.

Thank you about Dallas. I am glad he doesn't need breathing treatments as often as he use to. Maybe your Josie and Dallas will completely outgrow the treatments completely :woohoo:.

Wow the cake sounds delicious! No sweets for me until the big trip. I need to drop another 10 pounds so I can fit into some of my old capris. Can't wait to see the photos. 2 trips in one year. I am so jealous. I will have to keep up with the dis and read all about it. I guess I could post a pre Disneyland trip, huh?

It does sound good, I just hope it is. I don't think I am going to start a PTR on that trip until this one is over. I will take lots of pictures, much to my families dislike.......:rotfl: Yes definately post a DL PTR :thumbsup2. I need to go over to that board and see pics and reports.
