Im getting ready to book my adrs next week for a Mid-May trip. I was just messing around and was able to find reservations for some hard to get places such as Be Our Guest, Chef Mickeys, Ohana, etc. Is it getting easier to book these places or is May not that busy?

Im glad Im not the only one doing that. I'll be making mine in a few days too and was checking out the week prior to our stay and seemed there are more ADRs open then normal. Fingers crossed

I booked for my May trip today. The system kept hiccuping so I didn't get everything in until past 7, and I got everything I wanted at the times I preferred. I'd be cautiously optimistic!

As a first timer to the DDP was shocked as I got absolutely everything we wanted at the times we wanted. Read that booking for a couple would be quite difficult as it's not the norm at Disney as most parties are at least 3-4.

The only reservation I had any trouble with was Victoria and Albert's (Hopefully will have a celebration meal there as planning an engagement for this trip else it'll be an expensive commiserations for myself :() persistence was the key kept checking and the date I wanted came up.

As I am staying for 14 nights this was quite the feat.

What did everyone get?

@karpy111 You have my nickname I am known as Karpy too which drew me into the thread. :)

I got Chef Mickey's for first dinner seating on arrival day, 8 am BOG and 5:30 CRT for DD's 5th bday, BOG dinner, Ohana dinner... those were the ones I thought would be tough. I also made one for Tusker house, Crystal Palace, Boma bfast. This is our first trip with kids so all of these restaurants are new to us. We would always get the dining plan and do signatures before- no signatures this time with a 4 and 2 year old!

Wow you did well. Looks like we have gone for reservations of your trips of past. Also got a BOG Breakfast at 8am. Also got BOG Dinner, La Cellier, CRT For Dinner (Cause you have to eat in the castle at least once right?), Fantasmic @ Brown Derby for a late lunch and V&A as mentioned previously that's the ADRs I thought would be difficult. We also have dinner at Sanaa, Narcossee's, Biergarten, Teppan Edo and Coral Reef, We also have lunch at BOG, Tusker House and SciFi Dine In.

Any stinkers in there? We have previously only been to HBD, Biergarten and BOG Dinner.

This might be a gripe that's unique to me, but Narcoossee's has a "reduction" on many of the meat and fish dishes. Why would I spend $75 on surf and turf and want sauce dumped all over it? The atmosphere and view is beautiful though.

We really liked California Grill, Artist's Point, and Yachtsman

Just booked ours this morning. Got Garden Grill dinner, PPO H&V, Cape May breakfast, Akershus dinner, Tusker lunch, Ohana breakfast and 1900 early dinner. Most of them are right at, or very close to, the times we wanted.

Booked my ADRs this morning and got pretty much everything I wanted except for a 7 person ADR for BoG on our second day. Did a split res, hoping we can combine at some point.

I booked the times I wanted for Fantasmic Lunch (waiting for the Minnie Mouse Dinner to be announced), a pre park opening ressie for 8:05 at BOG, a pre park opening ressie for Akershus at 8:05 (in anticipation of the Frozen ride opening), the BBB for 2 girls at 10 am, lunch at CRT at 12:20 and dinner at 6:25. I had my choices of times but my son feared we wouldn't be hungry any earlier. Last year we had to cancel a much coveted Akershus dinner during the holidays because we weren't hungry. I walked up to the restaurant fully prepared to seat myself and eat in order to avoid the cancellation fee (there were 6 on the ressie) but they were so overwhelmed with people wanting to be seated they gladly let me cancel and even gave me my choice of breakfast times the next morning. They said since I came in person to cancel, that was all they wanted (it was 15 minutes before my reservation time); they were just charging the no shows. I also got the time I wanted for the Cinderella dinner at 1900 Park Fare, Wonderland Tea Party and Liberty tree dinner.

I can make our adrs next week and i am very encouraged by all i am finding available at this point. I hope this trend continues and we are able to secure all the reservations we want.

I am going in May and have been able to get everything, shift around, even get dining with an Imagineer. The hardest is BOG (of course) if you want a specific time, and CRT. You can get them but not at prime times if you don't get them within the first day or so. Everything else seems to be readily available.

The Minnie Seasonal Fantasmic dining is now booking. Book the Fantasmic Dinner at Hollywood and Vine and you've got it. It isn't listed under the Minnie's Seasonal Dining but under Fantasmic.
