Hi all! We finally decided today to book! This will be our 2nd Disney cruise- we did the Dream last year. It is my husband and myself, DD(3), and DS(1). We definitely want to do the FE this time around! Can't wait. I'm going to create some sort of countdown as our daughter ADORES "the Mickey boat" and has been asking to go back since we got home last time. Can't wait!!!

The trip is to celebrate my Master's Degree (hopefully, I finish before then!!)

I just finished my MS in December, and it feels like I got half my life back now that there's no more homework. A trip to DW and a cruise is an AWESOME way to celebrate - great idea!

LOL thanks. She was pretty easy to cruise with. It was our 1 year old who was less than pleasant last time around. She was only 2 last time, so she went to the nursery for babysitting. Since she is 3 this time, they said she can go to either place- depending on whether she's willing to go by herself we may just let her go back to the nursery again. It's worth the $$ knowing we wont be called in 10 min because she wants to leave. If they have the princess meeting, get in line EARLY. I got in line about 15 min before it started and it took probably 90 min for it to be her turn. Order room service- cookies and milk before bed are a nice treat. I've also heard you can order Mickey ice cream bars- which we ABSOLUTELY will do this time around. If she's got princess dresses, they are pretty much always appropriate. LOL

Hello this will be my family's first time ever on a cruise, so of course we wanted the best and chose Disney. I am curious about the fish extender group and would love to join in, can anyone direct me on how to join? My husband, self and two kids will be cruising on May 9th on the Disney Magic. NalDeen - Welcome to the cruise thread! BranNich is collecting info from everyone interested in the FE group, it just looks like she hasn't been on the boards for about a week. If you don't have enough posts on the boards to send her a private message (she has an earlier post in this thread with the info she needs) to do that, I'm sure she'll be back soon and can PM you an address where you can email her the information. I think she plans to post a basic list of participants in this thread as we get closer to cruise time.

Mmm...Mickey bars on demand...can't wait. Will definitely pack her costumes with us, and will be prepared for early arrivals for princesses - thanks for the tip! Are those meetings something that will show up on the daily Navigator?

We've been trying to prep her for the kids club, she has a tough time with transitions sometimes, but I think she'll be excited once she's in there. Maybe. Or maybe our planned dinner at Palo's will be turn out to be a short one.

Hey guys just made my final payment and did online check in it is official!! We had to move our last cruise so it is so exciting! I would join a facebook page if it was started. Kids still don't know so working on that and looking forward to FE. I have come to the realization that my kids will dump us to hang in the kids club but as long as they have a great time it is ok we will force some family time lol

My family sailing on this cruise as well. This will be our third Disney Cruise and we are traveling with a big group of friends. I believe there will be 27 of us. We are very excited and look forward to having a great time and meeting new people. We are also doing the fish extenders if anyone is interested in being involved.
