May 8th 2008 cruise

With Delta's new 1 checked bag only policy unfortunately I will not be packing anything other than the necessary. I need lots of extra room to bring home purses from the Straw Market. We do have a matching set of Disney Cruise outfits for the last night. Lyndzi & I have the dresses and Mason has the button down dress shirt. Actually we have matching outfits for everyday of our cruise. They are gonna look back on pictures and either love me or hate me!

I love families in matching outfits.. Me and my family will have them when we go next year..

As I struggle through another horendous work day with no end in site - I think about one of my most favorite times on a Disney Cruise. When you arrive on board I like going to Beach Blanket (rather than PC) so I can sit outside. There is something so calming, yet exciting about sitting outside with your welcome buffett food and looking at all the deck chairs and everything all clean and pretty. Maybe a bit silly but I do enjoy that first glimpse of deck nine.

That sounds really nice.. Do you know that a week from tomarrow we will be boarding OUR ship for OUR magical trip..  :cool1: :cool1:

To answer the questions -

Both PC and BBB are buffett and its the same food. I prefer BBB because the outdoor seatings (especially cause its still cold here). They may direct you to one when you board if they are managing crowds - if you'd prefer the other, just go there. For PC you'll head left once you board and for BBB head up to deck nine.

Strollers are definetly allowed and probbaly necessary as the boat is big and little ones do tucker out.

A week from now - staterooms are ready, buffet has been eaten!!!

We like hitting PC when we first get on the ship. It is less crowded. We are under a week now!!

WooHoo! I can't believe we have less than a week to go.:cool1:

Of course, when I think of all the stuff I still have to do :scared1:

A week from tonight we will be watching a show or finishing up dinner (which dinning time you have) haveing a wonderful time

Hey Guys, CRAZY busy here... but it looks like everyone is slowly getting organized!! So much fun! I plan on finishing my FE shopping today, and then start packing SOME TIME this weekend!!

I will look for a pic, but if I cant find one... we will be the ones toting our 15 month identical twin boys around... we are usually easy to spot also, since they tend to attract attention (They are flirts)... DH is tall with a Goatee, and I have drk brown hair.

We are bringing our stroller...it's a monster, but I dont care! I would rather the boys be comfortable and have a good time, than be miserable and we cant do anything! (Plus we really are bringing it for the 4 days at WDW.)

A pic of DH and the boys at least... this is a few months old, so the boys will be bigger, but you get the idea!

I should know this, but I want to be sure. As far as the forms that we fill out online, do we just bring the one to port that needs to be signed, or am I supposed to make copies of all of them? I just don't want to lug any more paperwork with me than necessary! :thumbsup2

Hi again, everyone!
The kids are off from school today, so I'm going to work on getting our door magnets (I doubt you'll even be able to see our door when I'm done!) and our FE gifts, especially that CD (It'll be a good one!) all done.
I've looked through files of pictures from our digital camera and I don't have any pics of DH and I from any later than our last cruise in 2006!
I did find a good one of the kids from our vacation last year to Chattanooga, TN.
This was taken at a Civil War battlefield at Point Park on Lookout Mountain that DH dragged us to!
If you look at my DS13, we look a lot alike (except he has braces now). Same curly hair, same skin/eye color. I'm 5'2".
DH is where the other two get their lighter hair and skin tone from. He's 6'1" with blonde hair and blue eyes and pale (Swedish) skin.
If you see us, give a shout out ... We'll be in matching "Disney Ball" shirts for embarkation (If the kids aren't in the pool as soon as we get there!).
17 lbs. down ... 2 more to go before the cruise to reach a comfy weight to allow me to gain some - No more dieting for me as soon as we step on the boat!
See you soon - Rose :)

Denise,

To post a picture, just type your link with
in the back of it.
I just learned how to do it today, too!

Rose :)

Thanks Rose! Ugh!...it's not working. I'll try tomorrow when I'm more awake. I can't believe we're just a few days away from leaving on Tues. I shipped my FE box on Wed. It was supposed to take 3 business days and arrive at the WL on Monday, but it was delivered today. That means there's more of a chance of it getting lost over the weekend.

I'm about half-way done my packing, but I have the weekend to finish. I made a detailed list at work today since everything was spinning around in my mind. DH is just about ready, but he has to work both Sat. and Sun.

I'm enjoying the pictures! I hope everybody can post one.

I'll be back tomorrow!

Are we all ready??? I am almost set.. Just a few more little things. I leave on Monday to go to where I have to fly out of and Fly to Orlando on Tuesday.. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited
