May 7th & video recorder

We are going this friday night and will really only have saturday for the parks. I am trying to decide if I should take the camrecorder or not - it would be to tape the parade and maybe the fireworks. I am thinking that it will probable be very crowded and trying to tape will be frustrating if not worthless - but this is also a no kid trip, I would not have to be trying to tape and watch the kids at the same time.
