We made our 16th trip to WDW and this time we took our son, his wife and our grandaughter(6yrs. old). We stayed at OKW of course. We used Magical Express and had no problems. We also had groceries delivered by Gardercrocer. He was about 1 hour late delivering the items but this caused no problems. We had him deliver them to Bell Services and they brought then down to us in South Point room 5312, a two bedroon non-smoking setup. The room was ready when we checked in at 12:40. No problems with the room. It was all it was billed as and more. We have always stayed in a studio being it is usually just the two of us but the kitchin and extra room has us now thinking about 1 bedrooms in the furture.
We spent the rest of Sunday at the resort swimming and then DTD the rest of the day. The second day was Animal Kingdom. We used early entry and believe it or not it helped a lot. We rode Expidition Everest, got a Fastpass for later, rode Dinosuor and was waking into It's Tough To Be Bug by regular park opening time. That night we went to Hoop-Dee-Doo and had the front row table 14. Our grandaughter and daughter-in-law who had never seen it before
loved it.
The third day was spend at Disney MGM and we had a blast. Stayed for Fantasmic and all loved it.
The fourth day we went to Magic Kingdom and the kids and us spent most of the day together but we then split up and they took their daughter on a few of the rides that were for her age and the lines were very very long. We just wanted to sit and rest and do some shopping. We meet again for the fireworks and they were grest. I ended up grapping the table near the restautrant that serves the noodles and held it for about 4 hours while they and my wife went on additional rides. I enjoy just people watching and this was fine with me, I have been so many times I enjoyed just sitting. After seeing the looks on my grandaughters face from the view of Cinderella flying directly over us, it was worth it.
The fifth day they went to Typhoon Lagoon and shopping at DTD and we went to EPCOT(our favorite). We rode Soarin twice. Ellens Energy Adventure was shutdown as was Test Track(had just finished raining). We shopped and went back to OKW for a swim then meet the kids at DTD for dinner.
Friday we used Magical Express back to the airport and also used airline check-in and boy is that nice. The security lines at Orlando were just way to long. They were qued back past the shops and restaurants. When we finally got up to them, they had several closed down. If they are going to have lines that long, they need to have more TSA checkpoints open. That was by far the longest line we stood in all week.
All in all it was a very enjoyable trip. Our next trip will be the members cruise this Oct. Can't wait...smjj

Your trip sounded very pleasant. You'll have to write a trip report about your cruise when you get back! :)

What nice parents you are to your married sons family. I always wished my parents or my in-laws would do vacations with us. Never happened. My parents are the cottage up North people, so if we want to see them, we have to go to their summer cottage.

Thanks for sharing.
