Yay! so much to do...so little time. Was able to cross a bunch off my "to buy" list this weekend. Went and got an over-the-door shoe holder everyone has been talking about ($5.99 at Target), plug in scented oil fan for the bathroom, formal clothes for the boys, new tie and belt for DH and NOTHING for myself! :confused3 This weekend is DH and I 12 yr wedding anniversary  . We will be having a nice quiet weekend alone while the kids are at Grandpa's. Maybe DH will want to take me shopping! :cheer2:

I'm joining the less than 2 months to go party... party:
Friday night we fly in and are staying at the Hyatt.

We got some clothes shopping done yesterday. DH was in desparate need of a new suit. We went to JC Penney's they had a great sale going on. He got a bunch of new shirts and ties too, along with a few pairs of docker style pants. My youngest DD got a really cute dress and my older DD got a pheasant style skirt with a top.

Nothing for me either! I'm hoping that I can loose enough weight before our cruise to wear a "little black dress" that I only wore once a few years ago. Also hoping that everything else in my closet will be too big!

Happy Anniversary jillian88! No better way to celebrate than a "us" weekend, enjoy!

I can not wait to go shopping, have a clean house, etc...Im ready for my last day of work before vacation....

Hello all, I think this is my first post on DisBoards. My wife and I are part of a nice group crusing on the May 6 Magic.

My grandparents are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on the trip, and we've got (I think) 21 people going. I think most of our group has the secret porthole rooms. Of course, they booked a long time ago. My wife and I will be on deck 7 forward (7003), and a 6:00pm seating.

I've been on the Big Red Boat (back in.... '92?) and my wife and I went on a honeymoon RCL out of LA in '00. But this is our first on the official DCL.

I think I'm gonna setup a blog/photoblog for our group to put our experiences and our pictures. If that ends up happening, I'll post a teaser and a link.

I'm so excited! It's coming up soon! My wife and I sent off for passports last week. If it does take 6 weeks, that leaves us right about.... April 15th. Maybe a little room to spare?

Jeremy

Welcome Jeremy

Me and DH went on the Big Red Boat for our honeymoon back in 1990. We were on the Majestic. This is also our first DCL cruise. Our last cruise was on the Horizon (Celebrity) back in '93.

We are really getting excited at how close the cruise is getting. WOW what a great milestone you will be celebrating with your grandparents. We have the early seating for dinner too, if we hear them singing a anniversary song we sure will know who it is for!

Here's to the less than 2 months 'til the cruise going by fast... :drinking1

Well now I am super, duper excited!!!! Florida Resident Rates came out and the amount I saved will be a large portion of what we spend on board AND moved up to a Cateogry 4! Thanks Dreams!!!! :cool1:

Very nice about the upgrade? How did you find out? It would be wonderful if my dad could get an upgrade for him and my mom or my sis and her family..

It wasn't an upgrade as so much as there weren't any Category 5s available at the Florida Resident Rate, so my Dreams agent secured me a Category 4, which was still less than I originally paid on the Cat. 5.

Woke up to a few inches of snow this morning and it is still really coming down hard. :cold: They even closed school for our whole district today. My daughter is thrilled and the kids have been playing out in the snow since 7:30am! This is very odd weather for March where I live in WA. It makes me daydream even more about the cruise!!

Gorgeous dress by the way!

Also, a big welcome to the newcomers!

Hi Everyone,
I posted on the main board, but wanted to check and see how many teens may be cruising on this one. We are looking to book this cruise last minute (eek) and I am hoping we could get at least a few excursions in. We have cruised with Disney four times before, twice this itin. Of course, if this one gets rerouted to Costa Maya, that will be new. Cruising would be me, dh and ds(16). I am hoping there will be at least a few teens on board for him to hang with. I am also looking at the end of May double dip cruise, so not sure yet...sigh..

Have you been notified that we are going to Costa Maya?? I can't seem to get an answer as to whether it's Cozamel or Costa Maya.
