And for all you Albino white legs out there, I will be joining you as well. I think we should wear signs that say,

"Wear Sunglasses if you are approaching, the glare off these legs will cause severe sunburn"

Yeah and the flapping in the wind might knock you over! I tried to ride the exercise bike today and I can only stay on it one minute and 30 seconds before my knees start burning and I am huffing and puffing!

not sure how long i can stay on my pc tonite...we are in between some severe thunderstorms and tornado warnings.

i agree with the others it not a requirement to get the kids anything..it was more or less just if you wanted and felt like it.. and sorry to say just dont give the kids beer as i would hate to see you get removed from the ship before we even set sail

i put our formal and semi formal outfits (each outfit on one hanger ) into the garment bag and then the other shirts go into the suticase and i will then use the wrinkle releaser the first nite there on anything that is wrinkled.

dh made the 15 yr get his suitcase packed tonite so i now have everyone packed and ready to put into the van other then the brushes and combs that we will need in the mornings. i cant stand it anymore...i wish we could leave tomorrow..ugh darn priorities...lol..well time to get off here the next round of storms are starting in.

wow...thanks, sherrie....i am assuming that the cases of beer you are stopping for are gifts for all of the adults that will be meeting.....you are SO generous!!!! LOL

uuuggghhh.....can I just take a little time to vent to you all?

I am having "one of those" pity me days. I never lost those last 10 pounds that I wanted to lose.....some of my shorts from last year are still too tight. I am now bloated because it is the week before my "you know what"...and so of course, my "you know what" will be happening next week!!! UUUGGGHHHH!!!!!! so, on top of that I am PMSing so that just makes me all the more 'fun" to be around.

anyway, I am still not done packing....and so I am the treasurer for one of my son's sports, and the president called at 9:30 PM last night and said that we "had" to have a meeting tonite before I leave.....uumm, sorry I can't I have last minute things to do. so he says that I "have" to. WHAT???? Last I rememberd, this is a volunteer position, and I don't "have" to do anything!!!!

I just cannot wait to be on that ship (with all those extra ounds on me) and sipping a nice tropical drink with the sea breeze....that is the only thing getting me into somewhat of a happier mood!!!!!!

umm sherrie make sure you put some air holes in your suit case so you too can breathe..might be kind of cramped up too being as your packing yourselves that early.. sorry couldnt resist that..

ppiglet..we have had just one tornado in our town and thats it but they hit all around us alot. we got mainly really severe storms last nite..and this morning i woke up to our back door wide open woke dh up so we could hunt for our one cat as she wasnt inside..she ended up coming to the back door scratching just as i was getting ready to leave the house for work almost 10 minutes late leaving.. we have a busy day today but it should go by pretty quick. i hope

Not to worry MBW...I didn't lose the 10lbs either! As for the other thing....I finangled (is that a word?) my BC pills so that I would be on mine last week instead of on the trip. I get migraines with mine and there is no way I wanted to be in pain or nauseated on this trip!

I was thinking the same thing Tracy about Sherri! Hahaha! Will she be in there with the beer? It sounds as though there are several people going through stress lately. Take my advice...I don't plan on being sober very much this next week No worries that way!

Why don't you just start your next pack of pills so you don't have your "you know what" next week and you will feel better? Well, theres a new gutter company that just moved into town yesterday and Carl is really stressed about leaving. It is a really small town here but I told him he has really good refrences and is finally getting his name out there. Besides, you can't go forever without having competition! Have a great remainder of the week and be careful!

Yes, sort of wish i was still on BC.....but nope not anymore. My DH had a vasectomy after we had two kids because we knew we did not want more kids.....so I haven't had the need for BC in years!!!! LOL

Boy, some people will do anything to get on board early!!

I lost 12 pounds, too bad I still have 50 to go.. I never could loose the baby fat after my last baby...(she is 25) Two of my 6 medications make me gain weight. So I am lucky I lost the 12. It stopped there and thank goodness I have not gained anything back.
Well I need to go for my pedicure, need to had pretty feet to go with my pearly white legs.

Karen- you and I must have been thinking the same thing. I just got back from a late lunch. I was supposed to go get traveler's checks, but I saw a spa on the way and decided I needed to do a pedicure today instead. Well, nothing like waiting till the last minute to get my traveler's checks now!

On another note...DH and I started packing last night. I am so exhausted. We usually try to pack pretty light, but I feel like I am taking the whole house this trip.

Finally broke down and got my hair cut today. Hopefully not a stupid thing to do 2 days before vacation! I went ahead and had them give me bangs. This is going to take awhile to get use to! If you see someone with funny looking hair it's me! (I hadn't had my hair cut in a salon for 20 years!)

Madisonznana and Mommymouse....you've inspired me to get my first pedicure ever! I made an appointment for tomorrow. Anything special I should know before I go? What exactly do they do?

I went to the bank today and got some vacation cash! The weather is starting to look nicer, so I better go mow the lawn since tomorrow I don't want to ruin my new pedicure mowing! I was just going to wear a Pirate T-shirt for Pirate Night, but found a skull patterned dress today. Gosh I hope I'm done buying stuff!

FL Kim..so if we see you stumbling around we know you are pretty much having a good time? i don't drink but just being away from home will help.

right now i am going nuts..my dads cig order isn's here yet and when i just checked on it it doesnt even look like the shipped it out yet. i did find an extra memory card for my digital camera so i am not worried about running out of pic space now.. i am working 4 hrs now instead of 2 going in at 3am - 7am and then i am coming home to utter chaos of rushing around to finish what i need to finish in the morning. and my god gas prices jumped from 2.97 to 3.16 today.

pppiglet..thats how my BC fell for me so far..was happy about it as i was thinking of doing the same thing if needed as i didnt want to deal with that on vacation.

ok i am off to get amber ready for her swim lesson. have a good one.
