I was going to order a gift basket from Shirley for DH with his favorite beer, but they don't have it in Florida. So I thought he might like the beer tasting. I'm also not a drinker. I only drink on vacations and it's usually a tropical fruity something also! In fact...around the adult pool they had some killer Pina Colada's! I know I could never drink 4 10oz mugs of beer!

Ok, I have to share, I got my dress for my neice's wedding, which will also serve for me to wear to Ryan's graduation and for semi formal night on the cruise.
I have no idea how to post links or pictures, but I got it at our Coldwater Creek store (I know, we don't have useful stores like Kohl's but we have Coldwater Creek, Chico's and Ann Taylor Loft...go figure!
If you go to the Coldwater Creek site (just the name with dot com after it) and search on code H01951 it is the Enchanted Floral Dress with sweater shrug. It is cream and purple. The best part is it was ON SALE for over 30% off and I got $25 off the sweater shrug because I had to have them order a smaller size...which in itself was something to celebrate!

Hi everyone, I have been on a mission to find out if any one has sent a package ahead to the ship, for example to send the kids hi gifts.
The following was my only answer and it was from Dave Marx, Mr Passporter himself!


So unless we brought everything in a carry on, which is not possible for me, luggage wise we may not have our gifts by 3:15

That's what I was afraid of. Ok, so here's my new plan. Now I'm going to ship a package of stuff I won't need by 3:15, the pirate outfit for Devin, snorkel stuff, etc but all the leis and glow sticks for the kids will go in my checked baggage for the flight down. I will remove them and put them in a big beach bag before we leave the hotel to head to the ship. We won't need our CincoDisMayo shirts - you will all recognize us as the family lugging around 2 laptops, a carryon bag, and a big bag of plastic leis

Thank you! I don't normally shop at spendy stores like that, but we have very limited resources here in our tiny town. My mom swears by this store though--she loves it. They do have cute clothes, but if this weren't on sale, I wouldn't have bought it. (yes, I am cheap) LOL

yep i need to decided tomorrow what i want to do..wish she had email so i could ask questions via email as its hard for me to get a phone call in right now. hoping maybe i can call tomorrow after work as i will be on a 3 day weekend. most of my problem now is just deciding on what i really want..

Thank you! I am still trying to figure out how to make my large a** look smaller in it because of the way the waist falls it poofs out and well, I think I look fatter, but of course dh and ds were very polite and said "no".

had to laugh at that Sherrie If a 'hoochie' dress means wht I take it to mean, I think mine for formal night is like that too, strapless and black lace....but I have a shrug to hide behind (or do i mean to hide my 'behind'!)

I'm looking forward to seeing all these lovely outfits

I am getting nervous and waiting to see if my children's passports get here. It has been 6 weeks since i sent them in. I know I should have done it earlier but O'well it is to late. I belive they will be here next week. (crosses fingers)

Also I thnk I need to get on the ball and order something for my DS birthday. Anyone know where I could order a cake to be delivered to our stateroom? He will be turning 7 on 5/5 (sail date) and I think he needs a cake because I am not going to have a bday party for him here at home (cheers from me)

Seeboo...you should be able to go to the DCL website and order a cake online. I ordered the romance basket to be delivered to our room. I'm sure I saw cakes on there too!

1.Another quick note, still don't have my computer. And I won't have this for the next 3 days! I will be incommunicato...
2.Madison's passport got here yesterday, took 8 weeks.
3.I too only drink on cruises. Weird isn't it? Pina Colada and Margueritas are my favorite.
4.I have a cold Feel miserable today.
5.Still don't have those suitcases, but I am folding and making some piles.
6.Lisa, your dress is beautiful. I love Coldwater Creek. Once or twice a year they have an internet sale o their clearance items. You take an extra 50% off.
7.Swimming lessons are going well. She goes tomorrow and then 6 more lessons. The teacher says she is doing fantastic. She swam a bit without the teacher holding her, and when she realized, she just stopped.
I am already having withdrawls and the computer is still here I'll miss you guys. My dd did not realize my computer would not be fixed by this time, so she told my son he could use it to work on a work project at home. He will be here any minute.....maybe I could hide it..... . I guess this is goodbye for a while. That was from Madison. She couldn't undertand why I didn't send you a pirate. Everybody keep up the good work preparing for the trip. Hope to be back soon.

seeboo..just call the dcl and tell them you will be celbrating his birthday on the cruise..they will bring a cake on one of your dinner nites for free to celebrate...we are doing one for amber on our first dinner nite for a belated birthday. they also have packages with a banner and all that includes a cake if you want one that way.

Evening All -

Is it just me that slightly brain dead or does anyone else have problems trying to pm? I've been trying to PM Kimberely with my mailing address and for the life of me I don't know why I keep getting an error code but I do!

Also, is there nite time babysitting onboard (for 4 yr old DD)?

Less than a month to go and I'm feeling quite overwhelmed - I'm so far behind on everything! I missed out on getting a ressie for my hubby's birthday at Palo's but I need to know if they have evening babysitting before I can do that.

Any help is apprecaited.
