May 5th 2007 Western Magic CINCO DIS MAYO!

so i assume the 2 was found alive then?? wonder how much alcohol they had in their systems when they found them.

They were alive and he was totally naked!:scared1:

The shirts look awesome! I've got to iron ours on. Was going to do it today but the in-laws were visiting and just left. 24 is on tonight so maybe tomorrow.

Are you feeling better?

BLTOH: Those shirts are AWESOME! Where did you get the transfer?
I'd love to make them for my family. I really do need to get this family in gear!

Kimberly: I pm'd you with our address for the music mix - Thank you!
And your organizing is a life saver!

BLToh, I love the shirts as well but am not creative at all can you summarize gow you made this.,

kimberlyc i am feeling a little bit better..we are getting some up and down temps ad rain coming up in the next couple weeks so i don't think my sinus stuff is going away anytime soon..i am taking nitequil at nite though so i still get a good nites sleep and then my prescribed stuff during the day to contain it..not much more i can do but let it run its course.. :confused3

happychik..the transfer i made from someones magnet i do belive that was from our group..can go back thru all the posts and you will find it ;) i just printed it to a full sheet t-shirt transfer and then ironed it on the shirts. :thumbsup2

sherrie... see above for the transfers on the backs of the shirts...as for the embroidery designs on the front i have an embroidery machine and the only way my crew was willing to wear shirts with the cinco dis mayo on it was if i let them pick out their favorite character for the front of the shirt and they got to choose the color of the shirt. so each one is different on the front but the same trasnfer on the back..i didnt take a pic of the front of mine or my daughters but mine has mickey balloons and my daughters has ariel ( her favorite princess)

Madisonznana...sounds like madison has been having eveyrone partying up a storm..glad she is enjoying it..shes only young once so enjoy it all while you can. amber is all excited for her party which isnt for a couple weeks yet.

as for the snorkeling at cozumel at paradise beach i seen on the cruise critc message board that snorkeling is no longer offered there.. :confused3

and last thing i can think of for the nite :rotfl2: how many people are going to try doing the parasailing at pradise beach?? dh is all excited again to know we may be able to take amber with us on it..i wehged her the other nite and she weighs alost 37 lbs naked weight and the min they said was 40..so figuring with clothes shes going to be there by time we cruise. and by what i read it said 40 lbs for sinlge rider so we are going to check it out. :woohoo: they say you shouldnt need to book it ahead of time but not sure where to find the vendor info to check directly with them.

paradise beach is at cozumel right? And 7 mile beach is at grand cayman, keep getting them mixed up

thanks for the info bltoh

The happy faces were an idea from my mother in law..... They are spread out on the calendar, 1 per week. The kids get a special present on each happy face day that has to do with the cruise.
So, for the first happy day face they got a travel journal, a mickey mouse book mark, and a gift card to buy something for the plane ride.
The secind happy face day, they got sun glasses, sun tan lotion and a new Jibbits for their crocs.
Only 4 more days till the next happy face.....:woohoo:
AND 40 days to go till the cruise!!!

Wow what a great idea! But seeing as I get yelled out by my dd for spoiling Madison near daily, I better just stick with the chain!:lmao:
Karen

I hear ya Karen, I keep buying Katie clothes for the cruise and nothing for me, I am getting yelled at also

Thanks for the chart Kim. I am hoping Kailey will qualify to go into the kids club as well. We have been working hard at potty training the past couple of months. She actually is doing really well. I'm only having problems with #2. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she can get in.

We're the opposite. LOL He's mastered #2, but if he's playing he does't always stop for #1.

I just checked and I don't have a PM from you. :confused3 Can you send it again please?

I have basically the same T-shirt design. Don't bother searching because I cleaned out my PhotoBucket uploads (how I post images here), I think I deleted it so it won't show up anymore. I originally made it in MS PAINT but had printing issues since I couldn't figure out how to change margins and it was fuzzy. Now I've got it in MS Word, but I can't figure out how to upload it to PhotoBucket for you to copy without screwing it up. If you PM me your e-mail address, I'll send you a Word file and you can size it. I have right now saved it in a child size and adult size. I'll send them both if you like.

I bought the dark T-shirt transfers from JoAnn's and Michael's. Check your paper for weekly coupons 40% off one item. With the dark (color of your shirt doesn't show through), you don't have to do a mirror image. With the light transfer you do. But it's just a preference if you use a white shirt. I put a green border around it (similar to Tracy's one on the left) so it wouldn't matter that I used a dark transfer. I found the pocketless T-shirts at Walmart (Michael's has them too but 50/50 blend instead of 100% cotton). Pre-wash the shirts and then follow the directions on the transfers. For more help, click here. http://kfeldmann.tripod.com/id1.html

I'll send out the CD hopefully as soon as I get your address.

Also, for those of you waiting for CD's I had been waiting for additional addresses so they all went out in the mail today. Beth, they said a week or so to Quebec.

Tracy, from what I understand the snorkeling was never too good at PB so it shouldn't be much of a loss. For good snorkeling, need more rocky formations which makes the swimming not so good. For parasailing, Devin is about 40lbs too. Other places say 90lbs, so I thought this curious (which is why I want to see the harness and how it fits). In any event, if the harness is ok, no matter what it should be fine to go tandum. Under 275 or 300 total (and that's conservative) total weight is usually fine. Even if they would let him ride single, I think Devin's too little to fly 400 feet in the air without me by his side. You're lucky your DH is adventurous. Mine thinks I'm off my rocker to take Devin if he can go. :rolleyes1 Then again, he's not a fan of heights and grew up in a household that didn't do thrill rides. His dad won't even fly - no way, no how. Conversely, my dad had me up in single engine prop planes by the time I was Devin's age, taught me how to "stand tall" to get on the rollercoasters at Cedar Point when I was 5, and my parents took sis and I parasailing in Aculpoco when I was young. So we have a difference of opinion based on our upbringing. I say if it's safe and he wants to do it, he can. Good thing i wear the pants when it comes to stuff like this  Devin and I went on a helicopter ride over our house last summer while Brian stayed on the ground. His loss! He is now, however, willing to go on the helicopter ride I booked in Grand Cayman. He better not squeeze my hand so tight like he did the time he rode the Millenium Force to impress me (early dating of course:rolleyes: )
Glad you are feeling a little bit better.

Okay, I've been reading non-stop for about 4 hours now, trying to get caught up and figure out what we're doing here! ;) I booked some spa treatments! Has anyone ever done the Exotic Rasul for two? That sounds kind of cool, but kind of strange too...not sure if DH would go for it...

Oh! Someone asked me what my husband's name is...it's Bill! Thank ya'll so much for being so friendly to me!

What are ya'lls thoughts on the Fury Catamaran Sail, Snorkel and Beach Party in Cozumel?

And what about the Stingray City Observatory and Island Tour in Grand Cayman? I think I really want to shop.

Do we HAVE to know what water activities we want to do right now, or is there any chance we can make some spur of the moment decisions when we get there?

This might sound like a dumb question, but I've been to Key West SOOO many times (my family is from Miami/Fort Lauderdale), so I know that you don't really need a "plan" in Key West...you can do whatever you want, and get anywhere you want very easily. What is it like when you get off the ship in Cozumel and in Grand Cayman? Are there things right there? Or do you really need to have a plan and get in a taxi to go somewhere specific?

Thanks again everyone!!

Hi Jackie,
I wanted to do the Fury Catamaran but it ended so late. That is the night of the Pirate Party and I wanted to be back to get Madison(our DGD) to take a nap before dinner. The Pirate party does not even start until 9:30. The 2007 Passporter gives it a 10 out of 10 pt. rating. It sounded great!
We too, even though we have never been to Florida, are playing it by ear in Key West.
I have a friend with an embroidery machine and she embroidered this on the back of our shirts.

I do not have an really cool pictures on mine;)

Sherri, my DD was putting all the new clothes I got Madison for her birthday. Keeping in mind I bought them with the cruise in mind. I asked her if she was going to put anything away for the cruise. DD: "Do you need me to?:snooty: " Me: out loud "Well, I guess not" (not wanting to start anything) Me: under my breath " No, I have no problem bringing old stained clothes, when I just spent so much money so she would look oh so cute!!" AArrgggg, what's a Nana to do? :confused3

Got you on the roll call! Sorry but I don't know anything about those specific excursions. I tend to avoid ship excursions when possible but some people prefer them. You may want to try the regular cruise forum for specific info if nobody here has done these specific excursions. For the most info about Cozumel and GC, I think a good place to look is Cruise Critic. They have forums for each port that helped me decide. In Cozumel, there are shops near the port - an international mall actually, Carlos and Charlies, etc. If you want to go "somewhere" in these ports I don't think you must have a plan (as in reservations) but its good to have an idea where you might want to go. We don't need reservations for Paradise Beach in Cozumel and we'll just grab a cab when we get there, but after researching all the beaches, I know this is the one we want to go to and I also know how much a cab should cost so I don't get ripped off. That kind of thing. Also google Cozumel Insider and Grand Cayman Activity Guide and you'll get some good info on what there is to do.

LOL karen all of katies new things are kept at my house til after the cruise, If they go home I will never see them again.

My daughter and Madison live with me, so it was a little difficult. But I do have her boarding shirt and skort in my room! :thumbsup2 And if I need to, I have a credit card and I know how to use it!!:lmao: Karen

If I ever have a DD, I want her first sentence to be "Charge it please, and thank you very much"!

I didn't think Devin would have an opportunity to wear his new stuff (since we usually have snow on the ground this time of year), but it was 70 something yesterday. Oh well he survived with his existing clothes because I wasn't letting him stain his new ones. I'm a MEAN mommy!
