How do we get the right font etc to change the signs? I am seeing on Paint where I can change the colors, but not the font. ???

Go to the text icon/thingy - looks like the letter A (underneath the paint brush and next to the airbrush (spray paint looking thingy). Make a box where you want your text to go. When you start typing a font bar should pop up which allows you to change the font type, size and add bold/italics/underline. Dont worry if its not in the exact place you want it to be as that little dotted rectangle allows you to box and move whatever you want. You can only use one font/size per box so if you wanted say

cinco dis mayo

you would need 3 separate boxes.

I hope I'm making sense. I'm not technologically inclined. I just play with stuff until I think I have some semblance of a clue.

Debbie are you going to the Scrapbook Expo ? It is Feb. 16, 17 & 18th at the Orange County Fairgrounds. A girlfriend and I will be going, just not sure which day yet.
I was in the mood to scrap this morning too. I was just looking through my box before I got on the computer. I have to put the binding on the baby quilt I made for dd to give to her friend at her shower this weekend. I will try to remember to take a picture before I send it off.
I am home with a sick this morning. She had a really bad ear ache last night. She is very snuffy this morning. I could have gone to my old job this morning to finish up the inventory I had been working on the last two days. But not today. Hopefully I can finish tomorrow. I wanted that bit of spending my for the Scrapbook Expo!

hmmm, I have only used Waltograph and Waltograph UI with MS Paint, but I just checked Word Perfect (not a MS prgram) and they are there. You may want to try uninstall and re-install or ask the tech board for suggestions.

hmm ok i'll play around with it a bit more otherwise i may have to creat it in word and go from there.

Ugh... no! I had to stay til 5pm tonight so didn't get to scrap. Looks like he will need me another 2-3weeks. (I knew this was going to happen!) But it's not like we are open to the public any more. We have to get the tools out of the building (and everything else) by the 24th. (eviction notice) So if I need to go or do something, I can take some time off. (Like if we need to meet at DL in Feb).

Also... I didn't know about the scrapbook expo at the fairgrounds. I'll have to look it up online. Sounds like a neat place to go. Have you been to the craft shows they have there with all the food samples and things? Yumm....I didn't buy a single craft thing, but bought lots of spices and sauces and things!

I hurt my back again. Exercising sucks

I did go scrapping yesterday for 3 hours and I finished 7 pages. I'm still pretty amateur, but I'm learning.

I'm getting really excited about the cruise. I haven't made my final payment yet, because I'm really enjoying checking my bank acct. and seeing that much in there. I hate to see how it's going to drop once I make that payment Oh well...easy come easy go (Isn't that what they say. They must not do taxes for a living)

I'm sorry I'm so emoticon happy. I'm watch Deal or No Deal and I really want to go tell this guy how stupid he was for giving up the $$$ and the boat offer. I think these people get paid even if they don't win because the entertainment factor that it provides. I don't think it started that way when they were testing the show for a week at a time, but now it's all hype. But funny to watch

I don't think mine's gonna be quite so hot! I just can't seem to get to my exercise classes and food has been really appealing to me! I know if I want to enjoy eating on the cruise I have to lose 10-15lbs before we go!

Thankfully, no. A mess is right, and the aftermath isn't much better. I can't believe how mean people are being. Nobody knew prices in advance and its so hard to know what you want if you don't know what its gonna cost (hey, I'd like a ferrari...what? you want how much?...I'll take a Kia please). So some people got more than one quote, understandable to me. I got a few quotes before I booked this cruise. But my goodness, you'd think these people were the devil! Blame Disney for jacking up prices rather than turn on your fellow disers for goodness sakes! I bit my tounge about it for a while, but then...

I'm bummed. Still waiting on my Passporter. Yesterday it was in a nearby city so I thought I'd get it today, but NOPE - still in route

I'm with you Kim, I think that people went overboard about the repo cruise. It's not a tragedy if they didn't get exactly what they wanted. I wish there was a better way to go about it for Disney, that way feelings wouldn't be hurt. Without us Disney has nothing, so they should definitely tweak their system.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!!! We got about an inch or so of snow, so I'm going to stay in, do laundry and scrap a little.

When I booked this cruise through Costco I had emailed DU for a quote and I never got a response. Some people are very happy with them but of the 3 quotes I requested for various trips I only got 1 prompt reply. There are some pretty mad people out there. One woman reported that she got a good deal but for the wrong cruise Hopefully your friend will fare better.

I know it was horribly slow! I was glad I didn't get up early just to do that.

Ok Ok Ok Good News

I finally let go of the $$$$

I called and made our final payment, so now your stuck with us.

I'm truly happy that now all I have to worry about is the excursions and palo.

We have chosen to do Key West on our own although the electric car rental might be fun.

In Grand Caymen, dh and I are looking at the Sea Trek adventure.

Cozumel, some beach/shopping on our own.

Castaway Key, I really want to do the banana boat and parasail. I love heights !

The desserts at Palo look awesome, so brunch is probably in our future.

How many of you have read Sleepydog's TR? If you haven't, I highly suggest that you read the whole thing. He is the funniest thing.

Kim (I am still waitlisted for 1st dining, but she said that we should be able to get it together on the ship. I also would like to get the kids together Friday night if thats ok)

What if you guys try getting on line at midnight instead of tomorrow morning? Maybe things will move a little faster. Or have you tried again today. Maybe Disney did not have their stuff together early!
I would love to try the para sailing too. DH did it years and years ago in Hawaii and he loved it. Do you make reservations with times on that? Or do you work up times once you are on the ship. We would have to work out times separately to watch over Madison if he wants to do it again.
I spent 4 hours at urgent care yesterday. After waiting and then waiting on x-rays and then waiting to see the doctor again, I do not have a break on my ankle (I knew that) I sprained a ligament. It looks like I have two ankle bones! And how did I get this injury you ask? I reached in the shower to turn the water on and felt a pop pop pop.......and could not walk. But each day it gets a bit better and I will live! And I am hobbling pretty good right now.
