From what I understand, you put the pillowcase or cases in a ziplock bag with markers, many colors if you want and it can't hurt to throw in a bribe. I understand sweets are highly appreciated!!!

You can put in your own sharpies and the charactors will all sign them. I think you get it back in plenty of time so you can still get your servers to sign it! It is a neat thing to do though, I have two of them for Kaylin and have them put away. I'll see if I can find them and get a pic to show you hers.
By the way, thank you for the Christmas card list! That was nice of you to do that!

I have no problem adding sweets but i think i would end up wioth the problem of having any left as my crew would eat it all before we even got on the cruise...ROFL

Ok have any of you been to key west? I am trying to find out information on the taxis there once we get off board. Just not finding anything i need ..ugh.

We have to be on the other side of key west by 1pm i think it is for our deep see fishing charter and just want to be prepared for costs and such. Also do you recall if when they say we will be in port at 11 does that mean just arriving or we will be able to unload by 11ish? I can't remember how that worked on our last one.

Well, I did a quick search and found this info on taxis. I do not recall seeing any taxis hanging around Mallory Square (where we dock), but there were plenty of electric cars etc, so maybe there were and i just didn't notice.
Anyhoo...here's what I found:
There are two taxi svcs: Village Taxi and Florida Keys taxi.
Village will charge $2/mile for a van that holds up to 6 or $2.25 to start and 50 cents each 1/5 mile with a charge of 50 cents for every 50 mins of wait time.
Florida Keys did not list prices but their phone numbers are: 305/296-6666 or 305/294-2222
Village phone is: 305/664-8181.
Are you sure the place you are chartering will not pick you up at the dock? Most of them do.
Also regarding disembark time: when it says we arrive in KW at 11:00, do not expect to get off the ship for at least 15-20 mins beyond that. Sometimes longer. Last time we were there in May of 06 the scheduled time was noon and we got off the ship about 12:30 or 12:45.

Hello all,

I found this for Key West for those that may be interested. It's basically a combo pass to many of Key West's high tourist spots. By buying the pass there is a discount and some discounts for some area stores.

Yep that helps a bit..yes i am sure..they told me they work with the cruise lines alot so if we are a little late no big deal...i guess i'll have to call and find out how much it will be total..would be nice to take a trolley to where we need..its off of route 1 on the upper side of key west though.

I did get off early today and I found out I will be getting my Christmas bonus next week

Ok the month is flying by fast but the days aren't as fast..it's only 10am and i am struggling to get thru till 3pm everyday of work..although i guess working 7 day weeks isn't helping much either but hey the money has been good.

Almost done shopping here. Gift certificates for most on my list. In all our relatives there are only 2 small children. Everyone else is so hard to buy for. If I was rich, I'd send them all on a Disney cruise!

Hey everyone !

The weather her has warmed up tremendously this week. Yea!!! It had gotten down to 7 last week.

I have been working out and have lost a couple lbs.

My ds turns 4 a week from today and we're having his at the golden arches playplace on Sunday.

Also, my 11th wedding anniversary is this Saturday. Can't believe I've put up with him that long. It might be the other way around but I'd never admit it.

Finished most of my xmas shopping without too much stress, but my mom is in the hospital and things are up in the air right now. She's an alcoholic. They have her stabilized, but she needs to go to rehab. She can't even walk right now.
