Ok all you cruisers out there....
we need to get to chatting! Anyone intrested in taking one of the activities?

Since we have now less then 1 year...

let's do fill in the blanks game!
And I'll go first...

1. Name of all who are traveling with you?
2. What's your occupation?
3.What are you looking foward to about this cruise?
4....add another question...:goodvibes

1. Im Ann and Howard (DH) is traveling with me.

2. Howard is a massage therapist and teaches it as an Assistant Director of a massage school. Me... Im 30 days away from graduating with my massage therapist licence!!!

3.Im looking foward to everything about the cruise. 1. our cabin, its HA room for Howard. 2. The new ship, I love exploring the things

Ann:teacher:

1. I am Cindy and my DH is Shane. We still may be possibly be going with our daughters, Kristin who will be 11 at the time of sailing and Sarah who will be 8. Still debating bringing them.

2. Shane is a software engineer, and I work in the mortgage servicing industry. The kids.........well, they go to school!

3. I am looking forward to everything cruise! Our first cruise was a year and a half ago, and I LOVED IT!! It was a DCL 3 day; now I'm ready for more! I can't wait to visit St Maarten/St Martin and St John's.

4. Since we haven't decided about bringing the kids, we are unsure if we will be staying at WDW afterwards. If we don't bring them, I really, really, really want to stay at least 1 night at Grand Floridian! (I hope DH is reading this!) Just 1 night so I can say I did!

Dare I dip my feet in here?!?! We did B2B DREAM cruises in April. We rebooked onboard for the DREAM in the spring and the Fantasy for the fall... knowing we can only do one, but hard to judge this far out. We have changed the DREAM cruise date twice and now have switched it to the FANTASY. So we now have 2 FANTASY cruises booked, this one May 2012.... second one Nov 2012.... :confused3 I prefer going in May, but last December rented DVC points for a Nov 2011 WDW trip. Now wishing I could cancel it. My mom had passed away in 2010 and I was just so needing some disney magic. Thus, the verdict is not out whether we will be able to cruise in May of 2012 or wait till November. I really liked something to look forward to all winter:cloud9: Hubby has vertigo issues and is not disney obsessed like I am, so the disney trips are girls only. Very special to me! My dd are 9 and 11( would be 10 and12 at cruise time). They LOVED the B2B Dream.. .my 9 year old cried the last night and most of the next morning as she didn't want to leave! Will join in on your questions:

1) I am Amy, dd's Matti 11, Mackenzey 9
2) I am a SAHM, we also have rental property that I help manage. Hubby teaches.
3) Looking forward to just about everything, our DREAM cruise was about perfect:thumbsup2
4) We will just fly in the night before and stay at the Hyatt. Very convenient.
5) I will add another question: Where are you from? We live in Ohio, but only45 min from Pittsburgh, PA.

Hi our dd will be 12 at the time of the cruise as well. So we really hope that you girls will be going on the cruise. If you girls do go on this cruise we think it would be cool if our daughter could talk to yours via email. We did on our dream cruise this year and it worked out great cause she had a friend when she got on the ship. So if it works out for you pm us and we will exchange emails

That would be great!Matti(my oldest) would not go to the kids club at all on our Wonder cruise in 09. Her younger sister went and loved it. So for this past dream cruise, we too met people online, two families. We ended up even meeting one family beforehand at chuckecheese as we only lived an hour apart. It really made a huge difference for her. She still did not go to the tween club(I registered her exclusively for the lab even though she was 11) but she had a great time. She will be 12 1/2 for this cruise though so she will definitely be going to the tween club. I should have a better feel in the next few months if we are going on this cruise or the Nov 12 cruise, so we can try to hook them up.

here's a link to my recent shutterfly book if anyone wants to peek. http://community.shutterfly.com/gal...postId=/gallery/1/post/GMGDBg2aOW7Ny5YgPXaBz-

Hi, everyone! My name is Tammy and I'll be cruising solo. I booked this cruise while on my first ever cruise (3-night Bahamas on the Wonder in October). Since then I've also booked the Westbound Transatlantic in Sept 2011 and a Canada/New England in Sept 2012. :rolleyes1

So, my surprise didn't go over very well:sad1: I surprised my mother with a disney cruise, but she said she'd rather visit family at their home instead of on a cruise, even though my DBro, DSIL, and DNiece will also be on the cruise. Then she brought up that she didn't know if she could get the time off from work for the cruise and that she didn't feel stable with her current job. Which I completely understand, since I had to find another position a couple of months ago.

So now, the dilemma...I currently have a verandah room connected with my DBro, DSIL, and DNiece. Should I keep that room for myself? Book an interior room, which would be less expensive? Or room with my DBro, DSIL and DNiece, which would be the least expensive option? I'm wondering if we'll feel too cramped or if I'll need my own space? My DNiece will be 18months old when we cruise, so a Pak and Play will be needed. What do you think?

You can surprise me with a cruise any day!!! :rotfl2:
Sorry to hear that news.
You can always move to a lower cabin to save money... everyone likes that part. Personally... I would keep the room and have a instant mini-suite:lmao:
3 adults and 1 baby.. and 4 bathrooms... what a dream room:rolleyes1

Sorry your surprise didn't go well. I would probably book an inside room if you were trying to save money. We LOVED the porthole room on our B2B Dream cruises. I didn't miss the verandah at all(we booked inside again for this one). I think it might be hard staying with an 18 month old. You would likely get put on the top bunk and many times their sleep patterns get messed up with the change of schedule, ect....

I don't know if anyone has checked recently (or maybe I am the only one who does this, LOL!), but our cruise is now $1176 more than what I booked it for in Feb!! I had watched it since it was released and finally booked in Feb., and it had not went up yet at that time, but WOW! I just told DH how much I "saved" us by being in the know, LOL!!

I am always telling my husband how much I am "saving" him. :rotfl: He is finally catching on to it:eek: Thankfully our two girls can convince him to do anything!

Anyone figured out excursions yet?

Booked 2 Cabins on Deck 7!!! Went on the Dream on May 12th and we just had to rebook again. 3 days was just simply not enough time to enjoy such an awesome ship!
