What exactly is the DisBoard Meet Up .... We want to make the most of our cruise.

Joanne - DFi (Bride)
Wendy - DFi (Bride)

Other Rooms that want to participate:
Robin - DF (2nd Mom)
Diana - DM (Mother of the Bride)

Cassie - DBFF

Kylie - DD (soon to be Step Daughter that is)

We have two more rooms that are in our party. There are 13 of us altogether.

I've replied to your PM and posted this question on the FE thread for the group to let them know my response to you. Wish you had found us earlier! It would be difficult for a lot of the FE participating families to add even one much less four more cabins to their gifts b/c of it being so late in the game. I am getting SO excited about our cruise. I haven't gotten our cruise documents from my TA yet.. I wonder if she is sitting on them for some reason?

Almost done with our FE's..getting all the odds and ends together for the trip.

We are doing WDW for 3 days, Kennedy Space for 1 day and then the cruise. I will be so sad to fly home!!

I haven't received my docs either. I'm actually a home based travel agent and I check with Disney today and they mailed them out on 3/31. I called my agency today and they had them and will mail them out on Monday. So it's very possible that your TA may have them or just received them.

Seems we have very similar schedule
We are doing WDW ( +Sea World) for 4 days, than moving from Orlando to Cape Canaveral, do KCS for 1 day, than the cruise and than we have another 7 days in Orlando - so WDW again!!

I am soooo excited, it´s comming very quickly!!

Just in case you havn't logged in to the DCL website today, the private cabanas are now available to book online for everyone (not just concierge ) There were only a few family beach cabanas left, but several Serinity Bay cabanas

HI! Just found this thread. Better late than never, right? I will be on the May 5th Dream sailing with my DH & our DS, who is 3. This will be our 1st Disney cruise. And the 1st ever cruise for DS. Hope he doesn't get seasick! Anyway, just wanted to pop in & tell everyone hi. I'm very excited and nervous about the cruise. Hope it will be magical!

WOW! Amy, I know you wanted one so I hope you got it. I'm in concierge and booked it weeks ago...but we are toying with the idea of releasing it. We live 20 minutes from the beach and go every Sunday as a family. My kids want to be in the water, play in the sand, etc...I just don't think they'll want to be up in the cabana. The flip side of that is -- you hate to let it go and then wish you had it. But $500 is no drop in the bucket when the cruise is already $$$!!! What to do??? Hmmm..

Is there going to be a meet up??? I'm already coordinating the FE so I don't feel the need to coordinate this. And to be honest, the cruise already feels SO SHORT that I don't want to have one more commitment. We plan on swimming in the afternoon while the boat is still at PC. That's where our family plans to be.

Yes we were able to grab one... Thank goodness! My little boy can't be in the sun for very long, and with my medication I'm not supposed to be out in the sun either We are just hoping it's not too far of a walk to lunch or to the stingray excursion we have booked.

I don't know about stingray but I heard it is right by cabanas2 (the place with the food)...

Also, I know you are surprising your kids. Have you told them yet? If not, have you seen this thread:

Nope, they still think we are cruising at the end of September...lol. I had to think of a reason that we would all be leaving home on May 5th wearing matching tshirts, so I'm telling them that we are going to have our pictures taken at a portrait studio....hahahahaha!

We will be doing our first ever cruise on May 5th. We are a family of four..our kids are 8 and 10 and we are very excited!! My husband and I will both be celebrating our 40th birthdays!

We have broken the 20 day mark....19 MORE DAYS!!!

I cannot wait and, like others on this board, can't see how I'm going to be able to squeeze everything in that I want to do unless I just don't sleep from embarkation to debarkation...

11 days till our flight and I´m starting to be very nervous .. hope everything goes ok.. no ill children, no lost luggage, good flight ... it´will be soooo long journey.... but I´m very very excited!!!
