In case you couldn't tell, one of my hobbies is the flying trapeze. Well I did a google search and there is a trapeze rig in Nassau!!! Not sure if I'll have the chance to fly while we're there but it would be really great if we can work it out. My DN has taken classes too so he'll be excited as well.

Very cool! All I do is scrapbooking!! Well scrapbooking and DIS!! This is a hobby, right??? Hobby or obsession- either way... I LOVE IT!! Maybe Dr Phil will run a special on it and I could be on his show!!

Embarkation day sounds great! We should perhaps meet out before the deck party starts!? We can get a great spot, talk and be the CRAZY people on board. True DCL fans. Any ideas are great too. Thanks for the picture Crystal. Cec wanted to print it out so she could hang it on her wall. GIRLS!

Welcome! All of us are very excited for the upcoming vacation! I see you are new to the forum... Caution... it is addicting! This is the second Disney cruise for my family. I wish I had found this forum before our first cruise; it is so helpful. If you have any questions, just ask! I'm sure someone will know the answer. My biggest piece of advise is to purchase the DCL Passporter. The 2008 version is going to be released March 15 and it is definately worth the $$$. I have the old copy and read it all the time. If you go directly to the Passporter website, you can pre-order it. I have already pre-ordered 3 copies, 1 for each family traveling with me!
Are you doing any excursions or Palo? We booked ours a few weeks ago. If I can help in any way, let me know. I would be more than happy to help!

My office is closed today because of snow and ice. I have to go in anyway for a few hours but not long. I feel some cruise shopping coming on later today!!

It is snowing here, too! They say another 6-10 inches by tonight! We have had more snow this winter than we hav had in a long time! I just found out this morning that I have to have surgery to have an ovarian cyst removed and exploratory surgery the same day because 'something odd' showed up on the ultrasound test. This will be happening next week ( it had to be done soon so it wouldn't affect the trip ) I guess I will have a good excuse to sit in bed with the laptop on DIS for a few days!!

I'm really not sure, sorry. What excursion are you looking for, just curious. How are you getting to the port? My only suggestion is that if you can get to the port early and be on the ship early, you may have a chance to check it out. Good luck

Well, the surgery is over! Went in yesterday at 1. I'm feeling pretty well, just a little sore. Now lots of napping and DIS time!!!

Crystal - Oh my! I'm glad it's over and done with. I hope everything is fine now.

I'm sorry I haven't been on this thread much. We have so much going on! Too much really, but it's all good. We did book Palo for Wednesday night and DH is diving in Nassau. We wont be participating in the FE (Thanks so much for understanding this Crystal!!) but we are looking forward to meeting everyone.

Hi everyone. Hope all is well. Crystal, I am sooo glad to know it went well. I got a pit in my stomach when I read your post. I have been making dresses for the girls for our trip to keep me busy! I really dont have much more to buy or do. So I think of things to keep me in the anticipation mode.
Fish Extenders-Done, check.
packing list complete-Done, check.
New clothes-Done, check.


DCL cd's are becoming worn down. DH just laughs when HEY BABY plays in the car on repeat. But, then again, he is smiling from ear to ear. He really is just as nutty as I am.
