May 4, 2008 4 Day--- Official Cruise Meet--- Anyone out there???

Well, after the EXCITING Super Bowl, I stayed up till midnight to book excursions and Palo brunch and was able to book everything I wanted for the times I wanted! I was so excited! We are doing the dolphin encounter at 9:30 and we got Palo brunch for 11 AM! I also registered the kids for the clubs and did the online check in! Now, diet, exercise, diet, exercise, diet and more exercise! :lmao:

Lovemetigger, ltremblay, Mindy327, Frequent Flyer, Samlaw97, Honeibee, and KCatplay:

Please check your PM for the Fish Extender info!!!! :cool1:

Lets all give Crystal a BIG thank you for her hard work in making our Fish Extenders experience flawless. I couldnt have done better. I know the time is getting close, and planning is really starting to sink in. Packing already in process. After this valuable information, Im sure all of this new fish extenders thing will be so much fun for the kids and Adults alike. We are looking so forward to having this fun experience onboard, we have all jumped on the bandwagon to participate. Thank you again Crystal. We cant wait to meet all of you, and share in the "Disney Wonder".

Heres a tip that Brandon and I did this morning that really helped us get organized. We had already purchased lots of gifts for the FE's and had them all in a bag ready to go. However, after Crystal's so organized list, we got gallon ziploc bags and put the persons name, stateroom and children list if any. This way we could "see" the bags. I put them on the floor, where I was able to divi up the appropriate gifts to eack cabin, and put them in the ziploc bags. So each stateroom participating has their very own ziploc bag with the room number attatched. Delivery, will be so much smoother for me. Perhaps, this helps.;) :confused3 :yay:

Thanks so much for the praise, Mindy. I really hope everyone enjoys the whole "fish extender experience". I know all of my family is really looking forward to doing it as well. Mindy. I love the baggie idea! I'm going to do this, too. Did anyone else book excursions or Palo yet? I'm excited to hear about what everyones plans are!!

Hi! My name is Sharelle, Crystal's sister, and we will be cruising with everyone! I will have my 12 year old DD and my mom with me! We are all very excited!:cool1:

DH and I are doing the Exotic Rasual and Im getting a facial. Not to sure about Palo. Perhaps I need some convincing that this might be worth it?! Plus DH has a major medical issue with what he can eat. Ive seen the menu's and there isnt much of a bland choice of food.So food choices are limited. We also booked two of the Castaway Packages. The kids are too small to snorkel so we figured this would work great. We were not too impressed with Nassau last time we went, so were just going down town. Shopping then to the Pirates Museum, and back on the ship to swim all by ourselves. Yeah! I already booked the kids in the club online. They are both so excited about it. My daughter Cecily, even constructed her own FE. Not sure how that will pan out letting her know, its not going on the door (too big). But a 6 year old needs some credit for trying!:)

Well, like I said before, Myself, DD,DNiece and DSis are doing the dolphin encounter at 9:30 in Nassau, DH and I have reservations for Palo brunch and we made a reservation for DMom to have a massage (It's a surprise!):wizard: DH and I had dinner at Palo on our last cruise in 2006 and loved it. We got alot of special attention though because we were married onboard that night. We thought it would be nice to celebrate our 2nd anniversary back in Palo! pixiedust: We didn't book anything for CC yet; I'm really looking forward to just relaxing on the beach. Last time, we did the glass bottom boat on CC and even though it was really neat, I wouldn't do it again. The bottom of the boat was really dirty and you couldn't see thru it. We saw better over the edge. Nassau didn't do much for us last time either so after the dolphin encounter, we will probably head back to enjoy the ship. I have 2 out of our 3 fish extenders done! Packing in progress! :woohoo: Box in the middle of the bedroom for stuff I am sending to the ship ahead of time! :clown: Kids registered for clubs! :yay: Ressies made! :) Will this vacation ever come?!?!?! :hourglass It's driving me crazy!! :drive:

Well, I finally convinced my DD that feeding the stingrays in CC would be really neat so she will be doing that with her dad. Sorry I haven't updated in a few days; we had 2 training classes at work this week and a bridal expo yesterday! :faint: Who will be staying up next Monday night to book Palo and excursions? :surfweb: I hope everyone gets to book everything they want!pixiedust:

We plan to do the stingray excursion also. My DD is really excited about that. I can't wait until we can book!!

Hi ya'll! It's been a few days, I feel I am out of touch. So Im writing in. I have a question I just thought of. When do the 75 day ers get to reserve? Is it the 18th? Just curious. I am not good at figuring that out. But I sure knew mine day to book though!;) I would love to do the Stingray encounter, Sound fun. Just dont think my kids would be to keen on the idea of a large fish sucking the food off thier hand. I did this in Sea World. It feels really weird. Crystal, I thought I had read that you are taking your daughter to The Bibidi Bobidi Boutique.!? When are you going if so.? Were taking DD on Sunday Morning before boarding the ship. Should be fun. Is it like Libby Lu's? She loves Libby's. Anyone else doing Land and Sea? We'll be at the Port Orleans Riverside Resort. Going a day early. Hope to hear from you soon.:woohoo: Getting closer.:yay:

Hi all! I've got updates! I have been busy shopping for goodies for the FE... this has been great fun. Oh, I also used Mindy's idea to seperate stuff into baggies and it has been sooo much easier! THANKS MINDY! :worship:
I really hope my DD likes the stingray adventure. I took some convincing but I wnated something fun for her and DH to do together since her and I are doing the dolphin encounter together.
I just ordered my DD's dress for semi formal night. It's a little bit dressy but we never have the oppertunity to all get dessed up so I'm taking advantage of it! I found some great dresses on ebay and can not wait to see it!:dance3:
We were going to do the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique the day we disembark.(We are staying 2 extra nights after the cruise as well as the 3 nights before included in the land and sea package) My DH is doing the Richard Petty Driving Experience that day and we thought this would be a fun day for the two of them. DD was not into it. Her exact words were, "Mom, I can get my hair and nails done anytime at your work. I want to see Mickey!" I guess it comes with the territory when mom works with 60 hair dressers! Oh well, it was worth a try!
Only 78 days until we are in WDW and 81 days until cruisin' with the BIG CHEESE!

Anyone else staying up late tonight to make reservations? I'm so excited!! My husband keeps laughing at me. And he keeps calling me DISy!!

Just made them!! :yay: :yay: :yay: I even decided to book Palo for brunch at the last minute. Got everything but a snorkeling trip. The one on CC was booked and the one in Nassau (that DH is old enought for) conflicts with our Dolphin Encounter. I'm guessing we'll be able to do some on our own.

Crystal, thanks for the pixie dust and for checking on some for me the other day.

hi everyone
just finished booking all my shore excursions.me,hubby and son are doing stringray at cc.then me and hubby are do parasailing and snorkeling at cc.
daughter is doing teen banana boat ride at cc.tried to get a bicycle for her to rent but said I needed a adult with her so have to talk to her and see what she wants to do she may not want us to go with her. Can't understand why it won't let her do it on her own site says you have to be 13 to go alone she is 15.just going to pirate museum and straw market in nassau.wanted to go do this one excursion but its not open on mondays.was going to do dolphin encounter but was afraid I would get dolphin swim envy (lol) plus don't feel like sitting around 4 hours by my self cause no one else in family wants to go.hope everyone else had good luck booking there excursions.

:yay: :cheer2: :yay: :cool1: :yay: :goodvibes

Yeah!!  I'm so glad everyone got to book!! Frequent Flyer, when are you doing Palo brunch and the dolphin encounter? Just curious as we are doing these too!! Did anyone else book last night or today?? I'm excited to hear what everyone is doing!!

My mom stayed up last night to book her Palo Brunch. She and the rest of the family are doing the Nassau Tour. I went last time and was very dissapointed. Oh well. This is their first time. They are also doing the Exotic Rasual Bath with the PAIRASAILING in Castaway Cay. Yikes. Dont think I could stomach the ocean thing. To be honest, I am quit afraid of Ocean water. Always have and will always be. It takes me a long time to gather the courage to just go snorkeling. But we are going anyway! I guess we are getting that much closer, it will come before we know it! :goodvibes

hi could not get my own site. so i willl just use mindys .I want to get know all you guys too . if any one can tell me how to get mindy log out os i can start my own. That would be the best

We are sooo excited! I have been busy shopping for fish extender goodies and have found some great things. My DD is so facinated by the idea of already having friends on the ship. :lovestruc She keeps asking what color hair do they have, what do they look like, etc. :goodvibes We can not wait to meet everyone on the ship in 75 days!!! :cool1: :) :goodvibes :yay: :woohoo: :dance3: I guess now we need to start thinking about meet times (oh no, the obsessive planner is excaping again:lmao: ) I was thinking about 3 pm on embarkation day at one of the lounges and maybe pirate night at some point. Any other ideas? :rolleyes1
