Hope you got to work safely in that freezing rain. Your bad weather is working it's way over to us here in MA.. but I'm on the coast so it will be all rain. Drive carefully!

Just got the final payment confirmation from my TA! I guess it's official now...we're goin' on a Disney Cruise (as if there had been any doubt...). I'll be sending out good vibes tomorrow at midnight to y'all to get the ressies you want (that's for those of us in the "cheap" seats).

Did anybody else see the thread on the main forum about the Nickelodeon cruise on RCCL? If it weren't three months after our DCL, basically the same itinerary, and surprisingly more expensive, we might actually consider sailing with someone other than Disney! There's no way DS can find out that he could travel on a boat with Dora, Diego, Blue, and the Backyardigans (Sponge Bob actually freaks him out a little bit, thankfully); he would go nuts! Those are all his favorites. I even enjoy Blue and the Backyardigans, although while I appreciate the value of Dora and Diego for the little ones, their manic enthusiasm gets to be a bit too much for me sometimes.

Anyway, I'm happy to cruise with the mouse and his cohorts! Looking forward to meeting all of you!

Is Puxatawny Phil the American equivalent of the ground hog for Groundhog Day? Our guy is called Wiarton Willy... hehehe... It is funny the things you don't think of.

For the fish extenders, I think I am going to go get something that I can decorate from the dollar store. There has to be something.

And, I was wondering something... I've read about a lot of people getting "magnets". Are the stateroom doors metal?

We are freezing here too. We are getting about a foot of snow today.

I am home from work They closed early...yeah The roads were really bad this AM. I passed many accidents and I am happy to be back home. I hope it clears before the kids go on the buses.

Yes the stateroom doors are metal. My kids decorated last time and it was really cute. It also made finding your room easier. I thought alot of doors would be decorated but only a handfull were. Some people did really cool doors. We went on a "door tour" because my kids loved looking at the doors
I am going to make some hot tea to warm me up...

Hi guys! I have a dilema that I posted on the main boards. I was told onboard last year that my DD (who will be 2 yrs. 9 months) would be allowed in the Club if she were potty trained. She is potty trained, independent, gets along well with others, etc. I called Disney yesterday and the rep and manager told me that she probably wouldn't be allowed in (it states within 1 month of their 3rd bday). She's been in the nursery the last 2 cruises and if I have to put her in the nursery again, we will cancel our cruise. She is tall and would trample the poor babies!

So, there was one person who mentioned going through this before but I can't remember who it was. I tried catching up on all 27 pages last night and my brain is all mush now from overload!

I am waiting to pay my final balance until tomorrow because I am so upset. It is like gambling $8000 away (cruise, air and hotel). I'm not for gambling that much money away! This is playing it too close for me! I booked a year ago and time has slipped by. I didn't even realize I'm supposed to be reserving this weekend! I had surgery and it put me behind like 3 months. Whew...I have a lot of catching up to do!

I need some words of advice!!

I will use the info that I get from pm's and then I will try to go back through and get the others. Some may have cancelled etc. So I thought the pm thing would keep things current. This thread is a combo of 2 threads so we are trying to get all of the info into one place. Hopefully the list I started will help others connect on the cruise. I plan to print it out and take it with me so I can keep track of everyone.

Yep! You're right. I started a list just by pulling them off of the two threads, but it did get a little crazy as the lists grew. CruisinEars, I PM'd my list to you, but the formatting got kind of crazy when I copied it, so I hope it helps.

That is upsetting. I can not help you because I have never been in your shoes, but I hope the main boards will give you some info.
