In the past people have handmade items, shared recipes, gave postcards, etc. Some people give items to each person, some do one for adults and one for each child, and others do one for the entire cabin. It is totally up to you! It does not have to be big; this is not intended to break the bank in any way. It is just neat to find little items when you come back to the cabin and receive things from around the country and world! If the group gets too large we will split it to make it more manageable. It will be totally up to you if you would like to participate in one or both groups.

Yeah!!! I'm not alone! This will be my first time on the Fantasy. I will be traveling with my partner Lisa and 4 of our bestest friends. We have 3 side by side 4B cabins booked on deck 8 and are just wayyy too excited about it all.
Our last cruise together was 2008 on the Magic.

You are going to LOVE the fantasy! We were on it May of this year
So much fun. It is just me and my little man who will be 5 on the trip. We are also on deck 8! I am already checking out the excursions. I love the planning that comes along with the trip. Plus it keeps me busy for the next year and a half. lol.What excursions are you interested in doing? We have not even begun to think that far ahead.
On the Western that we did 5 years ago we booked a private excursion in Grand Cayman that was fantastic. We spent the day on board a small boat....just us....went all over the place doing fantastically fun things. I know that we are all very interested in doing something like that again, and I am beginning the searching and planning to try and find something that will appeal to everyone in our group.
I am so excited about experiencing the Fantasy. I know that we are going to try to do both brunch and dinner at Palo, and the group is very undecided about Remy, due to the expense of it all. We shall see........
What cabin are you in on deck 8? We are 8592-8596.

We are 8512 I heard Remy is wonderful if you can swing it. It is always just me and my little man so I did not try it myself.
In St. Thomas I am thinking of doing the "doubloon turtle cove sail and snorkel" excursion. My son is a little swimmer so I think he would really enjoy it (and it has great reviews). Not sure on what else though. We might not do an excursion at St. Maarten. I try and have an idea of what we would like to do so I can budget accordinly over the next year to get the whole trip paid off.
I plan on doing the Fish Exchange too! Did you do one last time. My son and I had the best time with it in May.

It was so neat to see what everyone thought of and have treasures from around the world. Some poeple pick up or make items and others drop off postcards or a recipe of a dish that is well known in their part of the country/world. So many creative people on our last cruise.

We (by we, I mean me, lol) really want to go on a DIS Podcast cruise, but I felt we needed to get booked ASAP to get the best rates...and at the very least, make a committment to cruise. I listened to the podcast this morning and Pete mentioned the next Podcast Cruise would be in 2014...and he hinted that it would be a 7 day...and that it wouldn't be the Western Caribbean......so, let's hope that they pick our cruise...cause that would be awesome

I am so excited to be here! I know our cruise is 1 year and 5 months away, but... I need the time to get all the money together. 5 tickets from Utah to Orlando is a huge expense. Usually 508.00 a piece. UGH! Then, the kids want to do, Universal Studios - Harry Potter side, Animal Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood studios, Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Typhoon Lagoon. So all that is a pretty penny. 1800 I believe, then the blue man group. Anyone done the Blue Man group?
I am so excited to do Remy again. I look forward to that! Dressing up all fancy and going on a special date with my hubby!
I love Castaway. We went in May 2011 and it was beautiful. No rain, it was not cold, it was sunny and beautiful. I like going early May because then we get to see the Flower and Garden show at the Epcot. It is my favorite.
Anyhow! I am super excited!

Are you doing your park time before or after the cruise? We are considering spending some time at the parks as well, before the cruise.....so we can relax and recover while on board.
