May 3, 2012 Dream--3 Night Bahamas

Just thought i'd drop in and say hi! What has everyone been up to? Conversation was starting to go pretty good on here, then suddenly it got quiet I've tried to do as little as possible around here lately, it has just been way to hot! upper 90's with heat index in the trip digits. Needless to say, my A/C is workin' overtime I am probably going to be doing some canning this wknd, but at least I don't have to go outside and can stay in by the A/C!
We have been debating on where to stay in Cape Canaveral when we come down. We are leaving here on May 1 and driving it all in one day (around 9 hrs give or take) so we'll be staying 2 nights. We've stay at the raddison resort at the port once and didn't particularly care for it, last time we stayed at the residence inn and it was really nice, but we had 2 familys to split the cost , with it just being us this time, its too "steep" in price. Looking at Country Inn and suites. I am sorta picky about hotels, I have a great fear of bed bugs, roaches, nastiness, etc. I don't know whether to believe the reviews on tripadvisor or not!
Well, I will quit rambling for now. Just wanted to "check in" Hope everyone is having a great summer and don't forget to vote for our cruise group name on the poll I had to put that the poll ended in 30 days, so that should give everyone time to vote. REMEMBER...you can vote for more that one name, just have to do it in one "voting session" once you hit submit thats it.

I've always had good luck at the Country Inn and Suites but don't know about the one in Canaveral. (Loved the one in Gettysberg) We haven't made arrangements yet since we don't know the exact dates we're travelling but we're working on it. With any luck we'll be picked up and delivered by the Magical express -- Have Caa (Your AAA ) working on it for us. Good luck with your canning -- you're a better woman than I am -- the less time I spend in the kitchen the better I like it. Have to work the next 2 nights so won't be on the computer. Kerry is much better now and Johnny is slowly getting over his bruised ego and aching muscles. Take care. Sally

Just checking in after a long week of work. We are all excited about May. Our DD3 (4 when we cruise) keeps asking "WHen our we going on the boat?" She does not understand May is a while off. Less than 10 months but 10 months is a long time to a little one. Anyways, have a great day!

Sorry you're lonely. I thought ,maybe you'd had enough of me , and was hoping someone else might join in to the conversation..I had a great time at work. The highlight was a beautful 10 lb baby boy born to terrific parents. They are all so happy and lucky to be together.
I've got great news! We're all booked into the polynesian after the cruise so now I'm checking out the disney dining restaurants included. This is all so very exciting. We've been to the Polynesian many times before and love it's beauty and proximity to the monorail and the Magic Kingdom. The monorail makes life so much easier. I just wish we could rent wheelchairs with "back up motors "since both Kerry and Johnny are so heavy to push uphill and that hill after the monorail is a beaut. I have inquired but they only rent the regular ones and the electric ones you drive yourself. Kerry can't drive and Johnny can't see well enough to drive so.......... Guess I'll have to be building up the arm muscles again. Shane is a big help--- we'll manage

I was 11 pds even when i was born ...i just knew my girls would be big since big babies seems to run in my family, but i was lucky, they were only 7lb6oz and 7lb7oz I was hoping that maybe we could spend 2 nights before the cruise in WDW, as my oldest has wanted to go for 3 years, but it never seemed to work out. we'll see but right now it looks unlikely. I'm glad you've got some extra help to help out with kerry and john at WDW. I know that you don't mind doing it, but it has to be physically exhausting too. You're a good woman! and as far as me getting tired of hearing from you...NEVER!

I wondered if you had deserted us lol. when does school start back for your girls? we start back on august 11. this summer has flown by for some reason! and as far as being happy when we hit 5 months...i'll be happy at 5 months...happier at 1 day till did you guys vote on the group name? hope to hear from you again soon!!

Hopefully your little DD3 will understand time concept soon. We have always had to plan and pack in secret because our Kerry doesn't understand that everything is not right now... so it's a real challenge to plan trips ( but fun too because we feel like secret agents). We wait until we waken her on the morning of the departure until we tell her and she gets so........excited.

The Storms are staying away from Central Florida. YEAH! Hopefully Castaway Cay will be alright. TS Bret is churning over them now. We could use the rain though here in C FL. Thanks for asking though. HOpe all is well where you are.
