Just got this message from our travel agent:

"Hi,

I’ve been monitoring your reservation and see that an assignment still hadn’t been made, so I called DCL again to check in on the status.* The agent said that with the VGT or restricted status (as opposed to the regular guaranteed status), the assignment should be made within 2 weeks prior to sailing, so it should be any day after Saturday the 14th."

Here's hoping it's sooner. Good luck everyone.

Hi Everyone,
We are actually on the 7/9 cruise but were hoping for some feedback from you when you return on the following:

-We are flying back on Delta the day we disembark at 11:20am. For those returning on Delta on this cruise - please let us know how the check in is at the port for Delta - as you can check in there.
-Did you take your luggage off yourself? What time did you get off the ship? How long was checkin?
-We are a party of 5 and plan to get a private taxi to wait for us at port - will need to know what time to have them waiting. Am thinking to make it 8am.

All feedback will be most appreciated. Have a great time!!!

I didn't read about the DIS meet. We will try to go there, but are traveling with my granparents (in their 80s) and need to get them settled. Hopefully we can get on board and make it there. I would say mid 30's would still be out age, LOL

Simple question that I can't find on the DCL site or on any DISboard thread..

When cruising along the coast during the evening daylight hours and the early morning daylight hours, does the ship cruise close enough to the coast to be able to see the coast or are we too far out to sea?

I can't believe we are inside of 2 weeks! Sooooo Excited!

We can't wait either! I have a countdown on my phone as my wallpaper! Let's all try to meet at the DIS meet on the first day. Then we can head to a lounge or pool on day!
