Oh HOORAY! That would be great -- I know that my 4yo will do the kids club if - and only if - she feels like she "knows" someone...and her little sister is too little for that purpose yet! I'd really like her to go, especially after dinner (we have the late seating and would love to do dine and play -- DD2 will be in the nursery some nights!). Plus I think she would have a blast!

Oh, princess dresses! Hadn't thought about that! Do they dress up like princesses for...formal dinner? What? Please say more!

My girls would wear them in the pool if I let them! LOL! They have a princess session where the girls get to meet princesses. Dinner is appropriate too. Whenever they have them on, all the staff treat them like royalty and call them princess. They love it!! So really whenever she feels like she wants to wear it. But if she didn't have one there might be a meltdown if she is anything like my girls

I have booked private tours for all Italy stops. I have openings for up to 3 people at each location. I also have added private guides for the Vatican and Pompeii. If you are interested please send me a message and I will send you details and pricing.

- Civitavecchia - Full day in Rome seeing all of the main sites with private guide for the Vatican.

- Naples - Heading to Capri, Sorrento and Pompeii. Private guide scheduled for Pompeii visit.

- Palermo - Visiting Cefalu’, Monreale, and Palermo.

- La Spezia - Visiting Pisa and Florence.

These private tours allow you to see so much more of the country than the Disney tours. Splitting with my party of 5 also makes this very cost effective with the benefits of a private tour.

I wanted to update you, my day in Rome is now full.

I also did the math to make myself feel a little better about doing the private tours verses Disney... Much, much, MUCH more cost effective!

I still have openings on the other for up to 3 guests.

So if you have not already made plans and you are a small party you may want to consider these.

That totally makes sense -- thanks! I'll have to see what DD1 wants to do -- she is Ariel- and Tink-obsessed, neither of which make for great dress-up, but I'm sure she'll think of another princess!

That is completely up to you. But, the schedule says there are two semiformal nights and one formal night (but last year it said the same thing and we only had one semiformal night and one formal night). There is also a pirate's night. The three restaurants you you will be eating in, one is really nice, one is mid class and the third is Caribbean themed.

I plan on bringing one formal dress, my pirate outfit and some cruise casual clothes. But, I'm only bringing dresses and couple pair of capris. I have a lot of maxidresses that I plan on wearing every where. I have some dressy sandles and some casual sandles and one pair of dress shoes.

No, there hasn't been a schedule sent out, but someone posted it earlier in this thread. And we went on this cruise last year so I'm assuming that the schedule will be the same as last year.

I just found this company http://www.cellularabroad.com/italyRmifi.php and if any would like to split the cost let me know We could call them about the 1st of APR to reserve the device.

I would be renting it for a total of 17 days ($109+$39) but if someone was just going on the cruise and coming back with out any stop overs, we could reduce the cost to only 12-13 days ($99 + $39) of rental. we would have unlimited internet the whole time we are in Italy only. This would allow 5 devices to connect to the device wirelessly at one time and share the internet connection. by just looking at a wireless data plan from att you are looking at $100 for 100MB

I've been trying to catch up on back pages. FYI, internet on the ship last year was S....L....O....W. MUCH worse than in the Caribbean. At one point they were giving refunds because people were having so much trouble. However, most of the ports had low cost or free internet available. Some had free wifi right at the port!

If anyone is interested, htmlkid (Glenn) has offered to create a design for our cruise. After he has created it, I will post it on the website. If anyone would like to have the design on a t-shirt or any other shirt they have please PM me or him. He has offered to bring the design with him on iron-on transfers.

All you will have to do is bring the shirt you want the design on with you. Then get the iron-on from him and go to the laundry room and iron it onto your shirt.

Glenn has told me that there will be no charge for the iron-on if you want one. I for one am going to get 3 from him for us. We like collecting t-shirts for all the things we do.
