May 28, 2009 Wonder Cruise - Anyone Else?

I know... counting down!! It is going by way to slow!

I am a nurse and work 12 hour night shifts..so I work tonight, half shift tomorrow night, 12 hours on Monday, and another half shift on Wednesday...then on VACATION!!!!!!!


I do have a spa day tomorrow to get a mani and pedi and massage. Can't wait

I need to call DCL and inquire about what movies will be showing.

I just got a call from our TA -- we were upgraded from a cat. 6 to cat. 4 room 8584. I was excited before, but now I really can't wait!!

We were upgraded too! I purchased an upgrade from a SPH to a verandah (Cat. 6) and DCL just upgraded us to a Cat. 4. In fact, we are in 8592... just down the hall (4 cabins) from you!

Up since 4am - can't sleep - patiently waiting til 8am so I can check in for our Southwest Flight - can't beleive we actually leave tomorrow morning. I have to finish packing today - my secret is still safe - DD has no clue that we are leaving tomorrow. We finished all the school projects without her knowing why she had to do them early.

Can't wait to meet everyone onboard - see you Thursday!

I'm busy today. Going to the 500 Festival Parade in downtown Indianapolis. I guess I'll do laundry and pack tomorrow while I listen to the race on the radio.

Leaving Wednesday morning to spend the day on Disney property! YAY! See you all Thursday, by the pool, with the drink of the day in my hand.

I've been up since about 4am also, I keep thinking about all the extras to pack this time. Usually we just do WDW for a week and I've got that packing down to an art (I still usually overpack), but this is something new! Hope I don't forget anything

I stayed up till 2:30. We were suppose to leave tomorrow too but we are driving and have decided to start out today. We can't wait any longer. We are leaving as soon as we finish packing.

I HATE flying...funny seeing that up until January I used to be a flight nurse on a helicopter...but hate flying fixed wing...ugh! But I tell my self only 2 hours versus 16 plus in car!

On another note I ordered something special from Shirley that does the gift baskets for DH (our anniversary) and my oldest DS. I am excited to see their surprise!

We leave in 4 days!!!

For those who are back, welcome home!! I hope some of you are still going to pop in here. I'm not sure if there's a review thread somewhere I don't know about??? Would love to hear what everyone thought about their trips.

I'd just like to say how fun it was meeting people from the board and wish we could have met more. A special shout out to Tammy, Ami, Christy, Natalie and their families. I'm so glad we got to know each other a bit and hope we can stay in touch.

Well... it's back to work, back to school for the kids (we have three more weeks)... basically... back to the grind. Take care everyone and hope to see you real soon.

Hi all! We're back! We had a great time, despite the nasty weather. Hope everyone else had a great time too. We should start a photo thread with photos from our sailing! I have a ton of pics...maybe you'll spot your family somewhere!

We're back and reality is setting in! How nice it was to meet everyone and thanks so much for all the FE gifts!!!! My kiddos enjoyed that so much!

We are still here at WDW until the 9th! The cruise was great other then the weather! Why don't we just post our pics on this thread?

LOVED the FE exchange! I had to giggle because my husband was coming out of our room with the stroller when someone was delivering a gift to our FE. I asked him he said hi, he said no because they took off running! Hahahaha!!

We got back late Sunday night - hard to believe its over!!! We had a great time, although 3 nights is just tooooo short. We rebooked a 7-night Western while onboard - anyone else rebook? COuldn't pass up the OBC and discount.

The FE was one of the highlights of the trip. My DD got a kick out of it and had a blast running up and downthe halls delivering our gifts. Thank you to everyone who participated - we loved all of our gifts.

It was great to meet our fellow DISers - I think the kids had a great time.
