Did you guys see the pictures on the LIVE page? Did you see the people with the pirate flags? Ha ha! And the Mickey pool was EMPTY!!!!!!

It was cool watching it go by. I haven't found any sites that have webcams for San Pedro or the other ports we'll be visiting. There's cameras in Cabo and Puerto Vallarta that show the beaches and towns, but none that would probably show the ships.

Anybody in this group planning to do a "Live" thread when we sail? I wish I could, but I'm afraid my family might disown me (get it? "Dis"-own....never mind!) if I get in front of a computer during a family vacation.

Hi Brandy, I saw the empty Mickey Pool but I didn't see any pirate flags??? It was amazing to see the empty pools and deck chairs. Looked like a ton of people were on the balconies.

Gosh...you guys gave me 3 pages to read today...yikes!

Wanted to let folks know, some more of bargain Chris's tips as I've been running errands today:
1. Target has the clip on Purell AND the nondrowsy Dramamine on clearance for 68 cents...in the travel stuff aisle.

2. Dollar Tree has magnetic white boards/corkboards for $1, I bought 1 for my door, 1 for GGG &Grammie's door.

3. Dollar Tree has Disney learning flashcards (I bought bunch for the plane)...lots of characters and learning choices (from shapes to phonics).

I managed to watch the Miraflores feed while at work. Lucky at least part of it was during lunch. It was awesome. It was kind of funny, because just as it first came on the screen, a coworker came into my cube. I told him that it was going to be difficult to talk with him at the moment and explained that the Magic was arriving at our coast and I wanted to see it. He had no idea what I was talking about and so I explained the whole thing. It turns out he was there to ask my advice on where to stay at DL. By the time that she was through the locks, everyone around me knew about the Magic, because I kept saying things like "Oh, you have got to see this". Even my manager was by at one point, so I'll probably hear about it later, since I have so many "high priority" projects to complete before I leave on vacation. He didn't seem too upset at the time though, and I WAS multi-tasking.

They all know I need a vacation. This has been an unbelievely crazy, busy week. I started to describe it as a roller-coaster ride, but then I realized it was more like "The Tower of Terror". I have to work this weekend also after putting in more than 45 hours already this week. When am I going to have time to pack?

Thanks for the offer. However, it sounds like you are bringing enough already, for the partys, etc. Thank goodness that I at least had time to shop before now. But there is still name tags, door signs, etc. I'll either get it done or I won't. But I'll be there!

Hey, I wrote to the DIS powers that be the other day (still no reply) suggesting that if they give us a banner, we'd happily hold it up for all the Cameras and Press out there.... perhaps some of you should write them and suggest the same thing...? We'd enjoy the free banner and they'd enjoy the free advertising! LOL...

Basically, I know enough about computers and the internet to be dangerous, but I figure it's kind of like looking good or feeling good. I guess I "look good" in computer speak.

When they mean No Tank Tops, aren't they referring to the kind that people wear at the pool (like a man's tank top)? They don't mean a girls sleeveless top, right?? I sure hope not because I am wearing a lot of those!!

Yea...my mom swears by the airborne and I think I'm going to pick some up this weekend for "just in case" (can kids take it?).

I missed the Panama Canal crossing (yea, I like to sleep at 4 am), but I'll try to see what I can find online.

Hard to believe we are so close!!! I think I'll end up peeing in my pants by the time we get to port since I'm so excited! Now I know why they make adult diapers

Airborne, I definitely recommend it! Take before to forestall a cold or after you have it to shorten the "agony". Now, I will admit that when I take it and don't get a cold, it is NOT a controlled study. But, there have been times I've thought "Well, I'm screwed" and didn't get a cold. AND I will swear that if I take Airborne after getting a cold it seems to be shorter than the average 7-10 days. The herbs and vitamins seem harmless in their dosage, so what do you have to lose....unless you just want to get sick and get it overwith before the cruise.

I just got the creeping crud that has been going around.....2 days fever with headache and stiff neck. I'm done, but I have laryngitis. The DH is fighting it. I say get sick now and just get it over with. Am I wrong????

Panama Canal - tried and couldn't get an updated link before I left for work so I am just trusting that the ship went through and it was marvelous.

DD - I'll bring the Depends in both our sizes. So sense ruining the new cruise clothes!

I had to share the surprise I received this morning in my office. My co-workers have been hearing about my trip to Disneyland and the cruise for over a year now and I was sure they were tired of it. I quess I was wrong. Last night after I left, they all got together and decorated my office with a Disney theme. I have an office door wrapped in princess paper, balloons, streamer, and they even sang "It's a Small World" to me. I think they are just as excited as me. They are a great bunch of people.

Well I have only 3 more hours and then I am on vacation. We don't take of until early Wednesday morning but it will be nice to have a few days to wrap the packing and stuff up.

Can't wait to meet everyone. See you soon!!!

I am so sorry that I we didn't get a chance to have lunch (or shopping trip) before the cruise, but we always have afterwards. We leave Wednesday for 3 days at Mickeyland before the cruise. See you on the boat!
