Maddy and I have been wishing for years that Disney would do west coast cruises. It's pure magic that Disney's very first west coast cruise is also our very first cruise ever.

We have cabin 5124 and are looking forward to seeing which DISers will be sharing the Magic with us.

Janner-
My DH and 2 DS just returned form our first ever DC May 1. It was spectacular! No words to describe! Magic. We rebooked onboard and switched that ressie to the 5/28/05 West Coast Magic Cruise!

We are soo excited!

Glad to hear there are fellow Disers going.

Tandy

HI Tandy & Janet,

We're booked and can't wait for our 3rd magical cruise. This time we'll be traveling with my parents and sisters. Mom will be celebrating her 70th while onboard and this will be their first cruise. We're DH, dd 9 & ds 6. We're on deck 2 forward. First time in cat 9 for us. Both times before we were in cat 11 on deck 6. We can't wait to be looking out that porthole. :wave2:

Count us in. We are booked in cabin 2034; DW, DH, DS (age 11) and DS (age 9).

Have always wanted to do a Disney cruise but have not felt we could afford the Caribbean prices when having to add airfare for four.

wmjivey- My DSs are 9 and 11 now too! At sailing time they will be 10 and 12 will yours also? Our last cruise we had Dis penpals for the boys that they chatted with before we left. It was great to know some kids mine guys ages from the get go.

Let me know if your interested.

:D

TandyC: My DSs will be turning 11 (May 20, 2005) and 9 (May 4, 2005). I have no problem with them chatting with your DSs.

Do you know which cabin you will be in?

Raising my hand too! This will be our first cruise ever as well!!!!

We're on board for the May 28th as well...we're on Deck 2...two rooms (2026, 2028)

DS will be 10
DD will be 5
plus grandma and grandpa are joining us as well.

(wanted to do the 14 day but couldn't justify the cost).

I'm sure DS would LOVE a penpal too...but probably not your boys, Tand, as he already adores THEM!
Heck, DD will be happy to "make new friends" as she heard on the DVD last night!

THANKS
Chris

We'll be in Rooms 5516 & 5518... This is our 2nd Disney Cruise, First time to CA!!

We have Boys - 1 almost 8, 1 - 13 and 1 - 14....

We are so excited! We love the east coast, but cannot wait to visit the west coast!!!

Just posting again to see if anyone else is on the cruise. We have not had any new posts in a while.

At least we are now below 300 days!

I've been reluctant to post because I'm afraid I'll jinx it! But Jon and I have reservations for this cruise. It'll be our second. We went on the Western Magic this past May and loved it so much, that we booked this cruise from LA while we were onboard. We've only been to Disneyland once and thought this would be a good time to take in the park again along with our second cruise. We really need to get on the ball and reserve our Disneyland stay (before the cruise, I think); but there is so much potential (healthwise) for this not to work, that I'm trying to not get too excited... but it is really hard not to get that "I'M GOING TO DISNEYLAND AND ON THE MAGIC!" grin...:earsgirl:

Welcome aboard. Glad to have you in our group. :)

My family will be on the cruise. It will be myself and DH along with our DD (She'll be 7) and DS (He'll be 4.).

We'll be cruising with my mother and stepdad and my sister, BIL, and nephew, who'll be 3 by then.

We're all excited but I'm the only one that's crazy excited. :)

:bounce: Count me in! I am REALLY excited... and you all seem great, so I am looking forward to getting to know you all. :cool1:

This will be my 7th Disney :boat: Cruise, so, if I can answer any questions, I'd be happy to... :scratchin:

Welcome to our cruise.

How many are in your group? Any kids, all adults.

:earsgirl:

Well, the only one I know for sure is me :smooth: at this point... I'm 36, single, male.... Undoubtedly I'll have a :love2: "Girlfriend-du-jour" that will accompany me, but at this point I'm not sure who that would be... Alternatively my best  friend might join me, he is a disney fanatic too and loves disney cruises like me... So... thank you for the kind welcome... and I will update you all on any additions to my list as I know of them.... LOL....

Well, I made our reservations for 4 nights at the Grand Californian hotel. :) It sounds like the location will be great. I'm really looking forward to staying here...and then going on the Magic! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

:confused:Could anyone recommend a site where I can get information about how to get to the port from Disneyland? We plan to drive so will need to park our car for the duration of the cruise.

I'm so glad to see this thread! I'm SO looking forward to this cruise. Anyone know how to link this thread to the one I started before being so kindly guided to this one?

cheers!!

Looks like we will be trading in our RCCL Explorer cruise in Feb for this one. I was only so-so excited about sailing on that ship and the thought of a Disney cruise is SO SO much more exciting. I am calling the travel agent tomorrow.

My kids will be DD 18, DD 16, DS 10 and DS 4.

I wish I would have thought about doing this before the prices were so high, but Im just so excited!

I just wanted to add, it's myself and my DS who will be almost 6 and my Grandmother who will be 85, and we're in room 6622. Can't wait can't wait can't wait! Whoohoooooo! :bounce:
